He comes across like this in many an interview, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Really liked Peter Kay's stuff until I'd seen him appear on talk shows and the like a few times. He's a very selfish entertainer. Talks over people, butts in when his 'turn' is over, has to be the centre of attention and comes across as quite rude and abrasive. Like the naughty kid in the classroom who just has to interrupt everything because they think what they have to say is far more interesting and funny than anyone else's contribution. Gets annoying very fast.

There's an anecdote elsewhere about him introducing another comedian and basically ruining the guy's entire act by doing his jokes or punchlines before he had the chance to come on stage. He also was criticised for releasing two live show DVDs a year apart, with basically the same material in both which fans felt a bit of a deceptive rip off.

Yeah, remember that.
He's had a lower profile in more recent times so maybe he's used up his range of ideas and can't generate new ones.
Tina from S Club 7 nearly ran me over in Hammersmith a few yeaars ago. It was my fault as I wasn't paying attention when crossing the road but SHE apologised! (Well, she mouthed "SORRY!" from the window and smiled at me).
Selena Gomez
was very, very rude, fake and diva-ish. She only pretends to be nice for the cameras. I saw her in a hotel foyer in London. I overheard her asking for "coke", and I don't think she was referring to the carbonated drink. Some fans walked up to her asking for a picture. She just looked them up and down, said no, and walked off. Later on, I saw her outside the same hotel. The paparazzi were there and she was smiling and giggling, taking pictures and signing autograph. I heard from a reliable source that she only came to London for one night to see Niall Horan from One Direction.. God only knows why, though.
I was shocked and quite disappointed because I was a huge fan of hers back in 2009/2010. I've heard other people have had bad encounters with her too.
JessieJ Is The Nicest Person I Have Ever Met I Love Her So Much I BROKE My LEG To Meet Her And She Visted Me In Hospital And Brought Me To Her Concert But Then The Daily Male Writed A Horrible Article About Me
Why on earth would you do that? You broke your leg to meet Jessie J? That is, I don't even have the words to describe what that is.

I have heard about Munchausens Syndrome but this takes the cake....have you ever seen Fatal Attraction by any chance

Her innocent, sweet face is very deceiving.
I'm sorry, but I don't get what was so rude about Selena's actions. It's none of people's' business why she came to London and for how long. Assuming she was asking for drugs from the hotel reception is crazy. And she might have actually been busy/feeling ill and didn't want to take pictures at that time. That's not rude. Fans can sometimes act really entitled. She wasn't insulting anyone, just simply said no and walked away.
Was out for dinner the other night with a friend I've not seen for years. She manages a restaurant in the US and was telling me about her famous customers (it's in a well thy neighbourhood).
Was gutted to hear her nightmare customer is Ben Stiller - apparently very arrogant, rude and demanding (her friend went to work as his assistant for a while but couldn't stick it, he was that bad). She said most others, including Richard Gere, Dave Grohl, Bill and Hillary Clinton, are very normal and very friendly.
Not glad to learn that about Ben Stiller but also not surprised, some comedians are like that - utter arseholes away from the stage. Reminds me of a friend of my dad's who was a journalist for a Sydney newspaper in the 70's and was given the job of interviewing Jerry Lewis when he came to Australia to open the Wrest Point Casino in '73. Well before during and after the interview Lewis lived up to his reputation of being a difficult, arrogant smart-arse in every way possible and even though dad's mate was an experienced journo it left him shattered as he'd always been a huge fan of Lewis's. He got very nasty too when he was challenged some years back about his role in his Muscular Dystrophy organisation by some discontented young adults who felt they'd been shortchanged by the charity..."What are you complaining for, you got a wheelchair out of us didn't you?" was one of his replies >:(
My father in law has met Peter Capaldi on a professional basis and has nothing but nice words to say about him. Apparently he is a really lovely bloke, (not a surprise considering the utterly delightful video he sent to a fan recently) and a dream to work with. I am a huge Doctor Who fan so I was so happy to hear this.

I know someone who has done a lot of extra work on Dr Who,and he says both David Tennant and Matt Smith are also top blokes:)
Agree. My sister and her husband are very good friends with a very well known actor who shall remain nameless. They met for lunch once, and the number of people who came up to their table asking for a autograph was unbelievable. He took it all in good grace though.

- She said it in a rude tone and screwed up her face also. The fans were being polite. They were in an open area where anyone was welcome.
- She didn't ask the hotel reception. She asked a man that was with her who looked like her friend.
Anyway... I kind of regret making that post. I could get in trouble

I agree with you I think that is rude, the fact that she was so different when the cameras were around gives it away that her on screen persona is at least to some degree fake and put on.

Being rude once hardly means she can't be a sweet person. Some people seem to think that if a celeb isn't nice 24/7, they're horrible people. If someone here can claim that they've never snapped at someone, had an off day or been a bit rude, I'd be surprised. I don't know much about Selena, but unless she claims that she's always polite and courteous, I don't know why she's fake.

How would you get in trouble? I just disagree what is rude.
People were eves dropping on her asking a coke from her friend, making assumptions she was asking for drugs, and then wonder why she didn't pose for pictures with them. Fans tend to act way too entitled to their idol's in their free time.

I'd heard that too, his stage persona was apparently totally different to what he was like offstage. My mum would be jealous, she loved Freddie!
I know someone who has done a lot of extra work on Dr Who,and he says both David Tennant and Matt Smith are also top blokes:)

Well there is a limit to the number of things you can pretend to remember.
Well, if he's not genuinely arrogant & rude then he is presumably nice.
He is worth £62 million apparently.
And Dec's worth £61 million & 99p-and Ant never let's him forget it?
