I'm still up to my usual tricks Mum now thinks I have a crush on L.A. >:( I'm not that type of girl! I love music and the Apple Store and playing computer games. I can be a bit stupid at times. I rant a lot and watch crap TV. Why would a lecturer want someone like me? Parents, huh? Who needs 'em?
I know I do but if mum thinks I have a crush on her then that's not a good thing I don't think she would mind too much if it was true and I did come out as lesbian though. My parents have no problems with gays and lesbians at all, which would be a benefit. I don't think dad would care. He'd probably just say "That's great" and go back to his Surface tablet. He spends a lot of time on it
As the title of this thread includes "Any gigs" I thought I'd share a bit about the one I went to yesterday. It was a Christmas Extravaganza at Birchwood Shopping Centre in Warrington. It wasn't a Christmas Lights switch-on but just had a few guests, mainly singers, and fireworks at the end.
The singers were mainly local, including Olivia Archbold (who I have just found out was in BGT a few years ago), but we also had recent X Factor contestant Lola Saunders!
Lola sung 4 songs, namely Make You Feel My Love, Imagine, Crazy and You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman. She then stayed behind and signed joint photos with local rugby player Ryan Atkins, promoting the shopping centre.
I've just finished work and I'm curled up on the sofa watching TV.
Yes I did thanks Mimi! Glad you were able to finish work early, but I think you do short days anyway.
I hadn't slept well on Wednesday night, but still stayed up to watch some tv when I get home. So I got up around 8.30am this morning, was too lazy to have a shower and get dressed before listening to a radio show online from 10 til 2. I am having lunch now and about to watch Alex Salmond's farewell (as SNP leader) speech at 3.
Evening guys! Got the go-ahead for Wednesday Unfortunately The Puppetmaster (who is the course director of the Masters I'm doing) is gonna be there as well when I'm there. Shame really as I was looking forward to spending the hour alone with my favourite lecturer!
I finished work at 1pm and grabbed myself a copy of "Frozen" on DVD. I still haven't seen it so I'm looking forward to it. I'll probably curl up in bed later on and watch it. We have friends round for dinner tonight.
Typing up some of my essay on legal capacity before dinner. I have 558 words typed up now and that's so far without references or footnotes. I've got a lot to do yet. I'd better get to work bitch and type it up I need to finish this one before I move on to the next one. I have two more essays to do after this.

Not long back from the radio station. Thought I'd go in and do a show for the patients.
Just made dinner. I like cooking though I don't cook as regularly as I used to anymore due to work. I've made a bolognese. It's one of my favourites.
I'm not keen on spam, either. My Dad loves it though.
Listening to Halcyon (original), still holds up as an underrated gem of an album.
Night all.

Lazy day indeed! ;-)
Lucky you. I think I might bunk off early as I have all my work done.
I do have short days. Three or three and a half hours. It's nothing, really. I've got a 5 hour shift next week to cover for someone who can't come in.
Also If you do have a minute spare could you check out my YouTube cover.
