Maybe you should read my post properly before commenting on it. Across the timeslot, not across the 9pm hour.
Maybe you should not post misleading statements. Channel 5 did not beat BBC TWO over that hour. Whatever you want to call it. However you want you spin it.
I keep looking for xmas schedule updates but none there appears to have been.
I think the days of deliberately trying to wrong foot the opposition with shows moving wildly around at the last minute has gone. We'll be getting what has looked likely for the past week, with BBC1 either not putting in much effort against itv's limp offerings or wanting to look more austere than they need with the unnecessary repeats in key slots.
Presumably EE won't clash with Coro on the big day, but that's minor tinkering.
Another Christmas of 'ok' stuff on the Beeb but uninspiringly scheduled. I think the Beeb have had the stuffing knocked out of them and don't want to dazzle and wow us, or utterly destroy itv.
I wouldn't call that minor... we have Miranda to think about... surely it wouldn't go out at 10pm.
If itv don't blink then we will have EE at 6.15 and 9, with the comedies at 9.30, 10.05 and 10.40. Too late but that's why itv have scheduled as they have. BBC1 has nowhere else to go.
But I'd rather that than an out of place EE stuck in the middle of the comedy block.

Yeah. It wouldn't be disastrous for BBC1 to have it that way - they'll still clean up. 9.30 is the absolute latest for Miranda agreed.
Who knows ITV may remove You've Been Framed which will help the BBC air Miranda at 9pm.

With such strong offerings on BBC1, they really should not be worrying about ITV's schedule when they are likely to dominate anyway.
The two comedies MBB and Miranda look more enticing that a 2hr drama on Xmas Day. The only thing they need to have concerns abut is EE. The only one likely to let them down.

Which is why the BBC could stick to the Miranda/EE/Mrs Brown's order which is not ideal for comedy lovers, but a safer bet... i.e. EE at 6.20/9.35pm.

Where did Dancc state that it beat it over the 9pm hour? He never. He clearly stated it's timeslot, that is not misleading and is indeed true. I don't understand the issue you have with Dan's post and it is becoming tiresome and beyond ridiculous. He is one of the few posters who add fairness to thread and actually provides good data.
I keep looking for xmas schedule updates but none there appears to have been.
It's usually updated at about 6pm. I think we should probably get an update today but we'll see. I think the BBC1 schedule on the whole is very good, better than last year, I'd only really like to see Christmas Eve post watershed improved. Apart from that I really can't see there's much to complain about.

The Expendables 2 premiered to 1.54m (7.2%) on Channel 5, beat BBC Two and Channel 4 comfortably across its timeslot.
This statement is very different to the factual information given by less biased posters. It sounds like BBC TWO was beaten by Channel 5 when it clearly wasn't between 9 - 10pm. Why post that it was beaten other than to make it appear than Channel 5 was third ahead of Channel 4 and BBC TWO when it was clearly wasn't at 9pm. It only gained advantage between 10 and 11pm out with peaktime.
Thanks to DMN for providing clear figures and unbiased reporting unlike Dancc who is blinded by Channel 5 performance all the time at the error of sound judgement.

What's with all the 5.05pm and 6.20pm slots? What's wromg with 5pm and 6.15pm? There is no way they'd schedule 25 minutes of The News on Christmas Day. Even twenty minutes is a long bulletin for Christmas day, but I can see why they've done that.

Strictly needs to finish at 20 past due to ITV's schedule which has no films and runs in hour or half-hour slots (displaced by 20 minutes by Queen + ITV News). The junctions will align by Emmerdale which will have to start at either 6.50pm or 6.20pm depending on YBF.
If not 25 minute bulletin, padding out Puss in Boots so news runs 4.45-5.05pm.
Believe it or not I didn't put it at 5.05pm for a bit of fun.

Digiguide has updated. Strictly on at 5pm. EastEnders 9-10pm no split. It is unnecessary to start SCD at 5 past the hour. It starts a whole 20 minutes before anything on ITV and frankly ITV showing a documentary at 3.20 is not going to attract a family audience anyway. The news is scheduled 4.40 - 4.55pm. They'll be 5 minutes of trailers at 4.55. It isn't a problem really.

Maybe you should not post misleading statements. Channel 5 did not beat BBC TWO over that hour. Whatever you want to call it. However you want you spin it.
Not listed on Digiguide up to 2 January.
Who knows ITV may remove You've Been Framed which will help the BBC air Miranda at 9pm.
Hoping we get an update today.

It's usually updated at about 6pm. I think we should probably get an update today but we'll see. I think the BBC1 schedule on the whole is very good, better than last year, I'd only really like to see Christmas Eve post watershed improved. What's people's favourite?
This statement is very different to the factual information given by less biased posters. It sounds like BBC TWO was beaten by Channel 5 when it clearly wasn't between 9 - 10pm. Why post that it was beaten other than to make it appear than Channel 5 was third ahead of Channel 4 and BBC TWO when it was clearly wasn't at 9pm. It only gained advantage between 10 and 11pm out with peaktime.
Thanks to DMN for providing clear figures and unbiased reporting unlike Dancc who is blinded by Channel 5 performance all the time at the error of sound judgement.
YBF excluded completely. Its a very poor effort for Xmas Day. Option 3 I think.
What's with all the 5.05pm and 6.20pm slots? What's wromg with 5pm and 6.15pm? There is no way they'd schedule 25 minutes of The News on Christmas Day. Even twenty minutes is a long bulletin for Christmas day, but I can see why they've done that.
If not 25 minute bulletin, padding out Puss in Boots so news runs 4.45-5.05pm.
Believe it or not I didn't put it at 5.05pm for a bit of fun.
Christmas Eve now 8pm.
Birds of a Feather has moved to Boxing Day.
