Do you think there are some ideas which everyone says are good but which are never implemented are deliberately held back until a time a government needs good headlines?
Nothing at all at the moment, get back to me when they are in power and if they constantly LIE about "supporting those who work hard" while freezing the in work benefits for the lowest paid people in the country to bellow inflation increases for three years, a pay cut basically, not forgetting the at least tens of thousands of "hard working people" who have not only had their in work benefits frozen, but who are also being punished for 'poor crime' by having their in work benefits slashed even more because the Tories have classified them as spare room criminals needing to be punished,
if this is how Tories "support" those who work hard, then it's it's a bloody good job that they don't try to make things harder for us eh?
Because I assure you if Labour decided to "support" us in the same way I most certainly would have plenty against them.
Some good measures (stamp duty, northern regeneration, clamping down on google, Amerson etc) from Osborne, but also some poor ones. Pensions should be there to support people in their old age not dodge inheritance tax.
Osborne has actually come up with a better more fairer version of a 'Mansion Tax'.
Very clever.
Basically it's a tax that will affect the very rich and leave those who earned their money, bought their house aeons ago alone. Good decision, good tax and one I think everyone will like (bar red rosette wearers).

He's asking nowt to do with the statement.
I doubt it, self awareness is not one of Ed Balls strong suits.
It reduces the stamp duty paid by people buying mansions and only applies when the property is sold so how is it a fairer version of a mansion tax
Are you sure
The noise in the chamber is not helping.

no they won'. They wont care how boring Balls is. What they'll care about is..
..their wage in their pocket, the Petrol price, beer price and the cost of selling/buying a home.
That's about it.
