Juliet i was probably too strong saying public should be ashamed of their voting. Just cant understand why people dislike Pixie. She is a warm genuine thoroughly nice unspoiled beautiful person.
Can only think it is jealousy and envy that underpins some peoples thinking. Thanks Abigail`s mum for the spoilers you efforts are thoroughly appreciated by me and many many others who rely on you.
I really don't get why people talk about jealousy and envy. Jealous and envious of what exactly? Yes Pixie is fairly attractive but personally I think Caroline and Frankie are far prettier. Good figure? Caroline's is better.
I didn't dislike Pixie but I never really took to her. She has a really annoying voice (ok I know she can't help that) she does tend to come across as rather smug and when she is being interviewed her eyes are everywhere except on the person talking to her which I find weird and annoying
Idiotic jealous women voting with their hormones again. Mark and Jake comedy dancers in the semi-final? FFS what a joke.
Get a grip. It's a dance entertainment show not something important.
Dear God, the inmates are really taking over the asylum tonight.
Pixie was a graceful dancer but she never progressed from her first appearance (in my opinion, of course). Plus, 'best dancer' in a series like this is often subjective. I think Mark is doing very well and really don't understand the hatred for him (which is seriously unhealthy. I find 'hatred' is far more debilitating to the one doing the 'hating' than their target). I love Jake although a lot of his dancing is performance .... However, many of the best dancers ARE performers, so .... I think Simon has improved greatly and I love Caroline and Frankie (although she has also not impressed as much in recent weeks).
Whoever wins, it's not the end of the world and if it is, then seriously, some people should get a life. I know we all invest in this program and our favourites, but taking it so seriously that you go overboard is really not doing anyone any good.
Abigailsmum, thank you so much for all the hard work you do in getting us a spoiler every week, it's most appreciated!
I think this is the first time since Bunto the judges overall favourite has gone, outside of the final. At least we've got the SHOCK BOOT! the judges were asking for for the first half of the series with all their whining.
The worst part is of course all the smuggins Trent-hatahs lording it up and him probably not coming back next year. Truly the Day That Strictly Died, along with my dreams of a Trent/Gordana power-couple:(
You can say that again, I think they've underestimated the repercussions from this result.
It's not official yet, but people are going ballistic on Twitter.
But Simon (well, Kristina) made a mistake, Pixie didn't, so it's safe to say that had Simon danced his dance without incident, which presumably he did in the dance-off, then he'd have scored higher than Pixie.
I can understand Len's reasoning to save Simon (rules are rules, after all), but I just hope Pixie made some sort of error for Darcey to choose Simon over her (we all know which sex Darcey has a preference for)
Thanks for posting the spoiler, first time in years I have posted, not happy with the result not surprised .massive pixie fans in our house, my daughter and I met pixie a couple of weeks ago sweetest girl no airs or graces at all. I admit pixie's cha cha wasn't her best but thought she had done enough to get through this reminds me when Darren Gough didn't get through because of one bad dance. I do think the public thought she was safe and didn't vote. I do feel it's become a Popularity contest ever since Chris Hollins won. think Jake and frankie were poor tonight and should have been in bottom 2 but they have a massive fanbase that save them week after week. Simon I thought was fab I think he danced better then kristina. I do think BBC could easily stop the Fix rumours by releasing the voting results fans can then see if their votes help their favourite. sadly SCD is slowly losing its credibility as a dancing show. The judges messed up by voting 3 couples the same mark that's where it went wrong. Thanks again to whoever posts the spoiler regularly don't be put off by negative remarks not right I admit not happy to hear my favourite is out but grateful someone takes the time to let us know.

She scored less in her main dance than Simon & many people will believe the judges put her top of the waltzathon to save her - the great British public don't like being manipulated;-)......
But Simon (well, Kristina) made a mistake, Pixie didn't, so it's safe to say that had Simon danced his dance without incident, which presumably he did in the dance-off, then he'd have scored higher than Pixie.
I'd say Pixie's leg action was a mistake - plus, it seemed to me that at least one of the lifts was not intended and that her feet came off the floor - so it could be argued that if she'd straightened up her legs a little more and kept her feet on the ground then she would have scored higher. And anyway, isn't that besides the point, considering it was that they both scored the same for their dances and not 'who would have scored higher without Simon's mistake'?
IMO Pixie was the least relatable and, again IMO, was the most annoying of those left
This is how I feel about her - I could see she was a good dancer, and seemed to be a very pleasant personality, but that wasn't enough to make me vote for her whereas I have voted for others who I felt more strongly about.
Which wouldn't explain the several 'I couldn't warm to Pixie because of her personality'/'COLD ARROGANT RINGAH!' posts in this thread tonight.
I can't speak for everyone, everyone's got their own reason for liking or disliking someone, I was just pointing out that some people vote for Mark due to liking his dancing, whereas the Mark detractors seem determined to label those of us who do vote for Mark as crazy or deluded purely based on his persona and various other things that have nothing at all to do with how he dances. It's been a long time since I've seen such vitriol about one particular contestant, and that is why I fear what this forum will be like tomorrow night.
I can see ratings plummeting next week only temporarily mind you. To me len just isn't all that interested anymore and very much on borrowed time, yet the big bosses are obviously happy what he does and have if you like wanted to give him a better deal. Louise rainbow should quit as executive producer, she's more appropriate for I'm a celebrity or even the x factor, this SCD hasn't been well run at all or as well as it could be.
But Simon (well, Kristina) made a mistake, Pixie didn't, so it's safe to say that had Simon danced his dance without incident, which presumably he did in the dance-off, then he'd have scored higher than Pixie.
Makes sense to me and sorry to person who answered my previous post, they got same marks so I was incorrect in that but stand by my other comments:D

bound to have been a close decision

As I suspected.

Poor fella

I got here late tonight. Very shocked :o:o:o:o:o
I wonder if Darcey said she was voting for the guns again.
Thank you to the spoiling team.
Darren Gough won.

What a surprise
Not really - Pixie was at 50/1 to leave!
This is how I feel about her - I could see she was a good dancer, and seemed to be a very pleasant personality, but that wasn't enough to make me vote for her whereas I have voted for others who I felt more strongly about.
Irony

It's also a competition, meaning that people will be naturally upset or annoyed if their favourite goes.
