I'm not surprised Hamilton won, but Rory will win the RTE version at least.

    Disgrace, Rory should have won.
Rory will have other opportunities, Lewis has been second twice already so he probably deserved it in my eyes but either was a suitable winner :)

He didn't even do much, put any racing driver in his car and they would have won the F1 championship. F1 isn't what it used to be, it took genuine skill to win it back then.

Massa never won a championship in a ferrari, Massa is a decent driver, Lewis is a top driver, The car is only part of it. Yes he won in the best car, But the best drivers do end up in the best cars

Lewis is a proper driver not a follow the car in front driver

I agree. But then I love golf and dislike motor racing.

Anyone who thought a golfist would beat Lewis was kidding themselves, but it takes all sorts.

I guess the UKIP vote isn't as strong as they think it is.

They were voting for Ben on X Factor.

Rosberg didn't. The point about the champion always having the bests car is valid, but there are plenty of F1 drivers who aren't good enough to get the best out of a car to get on the podium.
F1 isn't what it used to be, it took genuine skill to win it back when the driver had to do the work.
Its certainly over-regulated, but he's objectively the best there is at it, that's what it comes down to.

I remember some people complaining about Tony McCoy winning, saying he wasn't a "proper" sportman. Well if a F1 driver can win, then a jockey certainly can.....in fact the latter role involves a lot more athleticism.

I must lead a sheltered existence as I have no idea who this "Nicole" is. Wasn't she in the Renault Clio adverts?
