Apart from Barney tonight looks real grim fayre to me. You know what you're gonna get with Jabba (not a lot on TV!) and the Dolan game is likely to be sub 90 standard as well.

I'm only interested in the Smith V Sujlovic game as I've gone for Mensur to beat him and be my Kirk Shep in the prediction game! But even that game I could see being a stop start mess as Smith will get wound up with Mensurs slow pace.

Yep, the Chelsea Stoke match will get a bit of viewing with some channel hopping inbetween.

Anyone else think Hogg has a slight resemblance to John Higgins?

Hogg looks like (John) Higgins if he'd eaten a hog. That is all.

Edit: haha, so no, you're not alone Degsy

Hogg fails to boss the match, Jabba avoids a potential hazard.

Guest commentators ahoy! Hope a nine darter doesn't get mangled à la MVG by Flintoff

    That was fun

Eric saying about Petersen (Devon but hinting at KP) and asking what the next couple of months holds

I know Rowby-John Rodriguez is making his debut at the Worlds but I think wearing an L-sign on his shirt is pushing it to extremes.

Quite like the banter between Mardle and Studd when they pair up in the commentary box actually, gives me the odd chuckle and livens up a one-sided match like this one. Perhaps I should lay off the chocolate liqueurs.

Mind, some real crowd pleasers by Barney there with a 167 then a few legs later a 170 checkout to wrap it up 😎

Barney at his best there. He's a bit of a flat track bully more often than not these days though, easier to relax and throw 100+ stuff when you've got no pressure on you, see how he does when someone has the ammo to fight back.

Be Lewis in round 3 I'd imagine unless Jabba puts about 20 points on his average in round 2!

Suspect this Dolan game is going to be a perfect bookend to the night complimenting the garbage first game!

After last nights less than thrilling entertainment I fancy tonight looks a bit more crowd pleasing. Bunting, Lewis, King, Van Der Voort is a good lineup of players.

Can't say I'm expecting any competitive games though really, Big John might be able to challenge VDV at his best but that's about it.

Yeah if he can recapture the sort of form that knocked Chizzy out last year than that could be quite a game. Always entertaining watching big John anyway, if only to see what hue of red his face will achieve as the tension increases :p

VDV certainly capitalised on that match saving 157 checkout. Good old tussle, unlucky John.

Impressive stuff at the death from Big Vinny, the 157 was pure class.

Bristow is so boring and monotone on commentary. Plus he can never force himself to mention the BDO can he. It's always "them", "their title".

🎤 Well that was good, if you know Wattimena 🎤

    .... But it's Marijanovic who'll face Bunting

Merv don't look in good nick at all there walking on.

Then again Whitlock could probably do with breaking his ankle again he played better then than he did the other night!!

I can think of a certain Welshman who built a whole career on suffering a physical ailment...
