I heard on the radio 'It's raining men' so I went outside to have a look. Imagine my surprise when an unsuccessful parachutist landed on top of me, killing me instantly. Do I win £5?

Is this for us or north america. It is they who have more chance of having four foot of snow and them kind of temps. Besides forecasts are changing all the time.

No. Considering I managed to slip and badly injure my left knee and ankle in the tiny bit of snow we had between Christmas and New Year :(

There is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothes.

Invest in a good pair of boots, they will make a big difference in snow/ice.

Yes, looking forward to it as I sit in my Freelander 4x4 which loves the snow. :D

    Are you all ready?

Do you have a source for this?

N.B. If your answer includes the words "Daily" and "Express", please just treat it as a rhetorical question! ;-)

Interesting way to take a simple sentence way out of context:)

Surly the OP means: "Is Scotland ready for -15 and 4ft of snow?"

It's a standard reply to the "no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes" line. Gets a great reception IRL :p

Lol the express can never be trusted........a bit like door to door salesmen.

The mirror has it on their front page about the minus 15 and it was on some yahoo news feed I think.

Probably a load of baloney. It will probably be unseasonably warm next week with people in the beaches

Hmmm ... the forecast for Aviemore only shows a minimum of -6 over the next 10 days.

The Mirror can't be trusted neither. Only sites like The Guardian, Telegraph and the Independent can. I'm sure they make mistakes too but they don't write a load of rubbish.

If its in the mirror or express then it MUST be true.

The old friend the jet stream will be back in charge around the 26th. This cold snap wont last long and we will be back to the gales again.

Why do they think this **** makes people buy papers? It might make them buy road grit, not papers
