I love these type of films. Twelve Monkeys, Looper, Triangle, Edge of Tomorrow, Salvage etc. So, I was wondering if people can name some others that I might not have seen. Thanks.

Timecrimes. Primer, if you want your head to explode.

Looper was doing ok, could have been alittle more cyberpunk, until the ending. The ending was a massive copout to me.

    Primer.

You don't need any other time travel films. This one will well and truly bake your noodle!

Another shout for Predestination, very much in the style of movies like Looper and Primer. A world away from the more humorous time travel movies like Back To The Future.

Emphasis is on plot and acting rather that incident and action.

I fond Predestination fascinating, and I the end a complete head**k of a movie...but in a good way.

Best to approach the movie with no knowledge of the plot, so won't divulge details here.

I picked up a Norwegian blu ray release of it a few weeks ago.

Primer totally lost me. I don't know if I wasn't concentrating hard enough or what but that was one confusing film.

Coherence and Predestination were my favourites in this 'genre'. Easier to understand IMO, but still mess with your brain.

You may want to check out any number of Twilight Zone episodes which deal with time travel like 'Back There' (s2, ep13, 1961) and 'No Time like the past' (s4, Ep112, 1963). Rod Serling is one of the most influential characters in modern sci-fi cinema but doesn't get the full credit. Along with his sometime writing partner Richard Matheson who wrote the romantic time travel book/film 'Somewhere in Time' (1980).

Then there is 'La Jetée' (1962) by Chris Marker which is the short film that inspired 'Twelve Monkeys'.

Coherence is amazing, I recommend it so much :)

The Butterfly Effect surely deserves a mention here? :o

I dont think the time travel in Harry Potter and the Prisnoer of Azkaban makes any sense.

Triangle is a great film though, as long as you dont think about it too much

    The Time Machine (1960)
    Paycheck (2003)
    The Jacket (2005)
    Source Code (2011)

Have also seen Primer (2004), but couldn't make head or tail of it and would not recommend it. Besides being confusing, I found it to be incredibly boring.

Time lapse is a good film, it's about time travel.......greed and betrayal

There's a graphic on Primer's wiki page that explains its time travel premise. Once that is understood, the film is a lot easier to follow.

Deja vu not been mentioned. Good film.

Frequency is one of my favourites.

    Timecop is ok, too

Timecrimes has been suggested and I concur, but with a proviso. But avoid the dubbed one, it is bad. Get the subtitled original.

Others have already listed the ones I enjoyed most (Triangle, Timecrimes, Predestination, Deja Vu and La Jetee).

Is Run Lola Run a time-loop film? Or does it deal with alternate realities like Sliding Doors? I haven't seen Run Lola Run for years so I can't quite remember, sorry.

    Flawed, but offers interesting ideas:

The Deaths of Ian Stone (time loop)
The Other Life of Richard Kemp (time travel)
Il Mare (SK) (letters through time)
Ditto (SK), but Frequency does it better (radio through time)
Summer Time Machine Blues (time travel)
Timescape a.k.a. Grand Tour: Disaster in Time (time travel)

    Watch it for fun:
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (time travel)
    Time After Time (time travel)

Predestination was an absolute head f**k, but i loved it for that reason.

It's not quite a time travel or loop film, but more of a time manipulation film and it's called Cashback. Easily my favourite ever film.
