I bloody well am! Utterly love Peggy. Been watching some classic EE clips on YouTube with her.

Scenes with Pat and Pauline were amazing.

And "Chrissie Watts....MURDERER!" is an all-time great!!!

No. She's either coming back full-time, or she isn't.

Peggy Mitchell is coming back to Walford where she belongs. Sadly Peggy is only back for one episode ;) but she was the true Queen of the Vic.

Are you excited that Peggy is coming back or are you not bothered about her brief comeback?

Nope, not at all. And the true Queen of the Vic was Angie - Sharons Mum, Peggy doesn't even come close.

God I miss Angie. That's the cameo I would really want to see. :(

    I agree.

Comparing Angie to Peggy is like comparing the finest platinum with a pile of rusty scrap metal - I for one am certainly not looking forward to the return of the badly acted, obnoxious, screeching old harpy. :(

I'd rather have Pauline Fowler or Pat Evans back before Peggy Mitchell.

Why they were given such final exits when Peggy could've have died in The Queen Vic fire is beyond me. They were much better characters. She has returned for one offs too many time for me to get hyped up.

She has a great rich history and I like seeing her on screen but like Tanya Cross, she is either there or isn't. Both great characters though I must stress.

I am a bit fan of Barbara Windsor in the old Carry On films though!

Joan Sims, Liz Fraser, and Dilys Laye all acted old Bingo balls right off the screen in the Carry On films. ;-)

This 'one episode return' is a bit naff. It will be good to see Peggy back to see who is running the Vic, but I don't want a Sharon/ Peggy rematch.

They cleared the air when Sharon last left, and Sharon has since proven herself a loyal wife and a capable matriarch for the Mitchell family.

There will be too much going on. Also why is peggy making these day trips to London from Portugal? You would at least stay a long weekend!

Yes I don't mind Peggy returning, as long as she doesn't go around screeching about "faaaaaaamily" or "my pahhhhb" every five minutes.

Looking forward to her scenes with Sharon (always classic) and it will be amusing to see Mick hand Peggy her arse by kicking her out of the Vic.

I have loved Babs ever since the Carry On films, but I feel her time on Eastenders may have passed.

Her last appearance was really hammy :(

I think Babs is a great actress but she's very hammy. She was marvellous in Carry On films and I think her acting has gone OTT as the years went on. I think Peggy is meant to be loud too but I can understand why it can annoy you. Peggy is always about "fammmmilllyyyy! ;)

Yes the faaaaammillyyy thing got annoying! I think that's why the rest of the Mitchells always go on about "being a Mitchell". They got it from her.

    Absolutley no
Will never understand the popularity of a dreadful character who recycles the same rubbish from her mouth, played a truly dreadful actress.

and the true queen of The Vic was Angie Watts.

I'm not fussed as it's not long term but with all these returns she might as we just be recurring like Sal, Elaine and the young kids. I'll vote no to see the results as my mum is not but personally I don't care either way.
