It seemed to be scheduled to be shown just before she was announced as companion. Then shelved and show without much fanfare before the broadcast of her time in Dr Who.

You say that like it's some sort of contraband. It was a film called 'Not Another Happy Ending' and is easy to find within a few seconds with a Google search. She was also in a comedy sketch show where she was not nude, but usually dressed pretty sexily, called 'The Kevin Bishop' show.
She was also naked but covering herself in a still picture from her recent sitcom 'Selfie'.
None of this is terribly hush-hush. All mainstream fare. Now, ush-hush would be her running around a New York hotel naked... ;-)
Most of the ones I know about people have covered already but an obvious one I haven't seen mentioned yet is Christopher Ecclestone's portrayal of John Lennon in 'Lennon Naked', in which he was nude, recreating the famous 'Two Virgins' John & Yoko record sleeve.
David Tennant has also been nude on stage, which again, is easy to find pictorial evidence of, if you're inclined to look.
The film mentioned above in which Tom Baker appeared nude is Pasolini's version of 'the Canterbury Tales' and is previous to his stint as the fourth Doctor.
Alex Kingston has been nude on a number of occasions, including 'The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders', and 'Croupier'.
Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler) was topless but covering her breasts with her hands in 'King Ralph'.
Carey Mulligan (the popular Sally Sparrow) appeared nude in the film 'Shame'.
There is a thread on DS entitled Best Boobs on TV. Unfortunately Jenna will never qualify for it as the boobs she flashed in Room at the Top were truly shocking, and not in a good way. Almost as scary as her eyebrows.
Didn't Wendy get jiggy with David Essex in That'll Be The Day, but can't remember if she flashed anything.

I remember going to see the film at the cinema after he had been cast, and when he stood up in that bath-tub several people said 'Ooh - it's Doctor Who' !

Oh yes! I remember now. Jack was naked in TW Children of Earth, when he came back to life after the Hub explosion.
Also Matt Smith of course, when he stripped off for The Time of the Doctor.

And Jack was naked in Bad Wolf, although I think they cut the scene showing his backside.
