Greetings all! Big thank you for the turnout for the second group, and welcome to any new voters. Now group two was a difficult one. Initially when looking at it I thought it’d be cut and dry, but I was wrong. For our top nine, they pretty much flew through to the second round with ease, but it was three-way jostle to the tenth spot and it seems timing is everything. If this were posted seven days ago I fully believe we’d have a different result.
Group Two Results
01 | David Wicks – 92.3%
02 | Ronnie Mitchell – 88.5%
03 | Mick Carter – 84.6%
04 | Lola Pearce – 78.8%
05 | Michael Moon – 75%
06 | Peggy Mitchell – 71.2%
07 | Lisa Fowler – 67.3%
08 | Tamwar Masood – 57.7%
== | Alfie Moon – 57.7%
10 | Bobby Beale – 42.3%
11 | Vanessa Gold – 40.4%
== | Darren Miller – 40.4%
13 | Alice Branning – 23.1%
14 | Rose Cotton – 21.2%
15 | Rob Grayson – 13.5%
== | Lydia Simmonds – 13.5%
17 | Manda Best – 5.8%
18 | Brenda Boyle – 1.9%
== | Hazel Hobbs – 1.9%
== | Tariq Larousi – 1.9%
== | Denny Rickman – 1.9%
22 | Adam Best – 0%
Vanessa and Darren were so, so close. I liked both so it’s sad to see them fall so early. Especially when it’s very likely live week had a damaging effect on their chances. David Wicks, last year’s runner-up to Carol, rightfully topped the vote, with 2009 winner Ronnie and popular landlord Mick close behind. Down at the bottom, poor Adam Best proves to have no fans at all, being the first to receive a zero.
On to group three….and can I just ask, please try to vote for ten characters. Although I accept votes of less, there’s a reason I ask for the full amount, it saves us from ties lower down the leaderboard, and characters going through on a handful of votes. So I ask you please to imagine you were ranking them all, and just list your top ten instead.

Also down to how the voting is done though - in the normal EE thing, you can only vote for a top 4 rather than rank the load that's in a given round.
Saying that though I think the Live episode and the fact Eliot Carrington can actually act and has been given a fair bit to do recently has helped a lot
