Do you share the bath water at home?

Do you share the bath water with your partner or kids ?

By share I mean do you leave the water in for your loved ones? Not having everyone jump in at the same time lol.

I share the water with the wife and kids but refuse to get in if they have washed their hair as you start to feel hair all over your face and start to pull hair from places you shouldn't have hair lol.

I just wondered if anyone else did.

I prefer sitting in my own dirt.

TBH its sort of an old fashioned thing when boilers used to take ages to heat water up and you could only get one bath out of them. These days lots of people have combo boilers, hot water on demand for ever.

The thought of sitting in someone else's bath water makes me feel sick.

I share the bath with my cat, me in it and him sitting on the edge talking to me. :)

How are you meant to get cleaned by getting into a dirty bath?

When you bath you meant to get cleaned.

Disgusting, this thread is not real.:p

No water is 100% clean, it contains particles of all sorts.

Apart from the fact that the water will be dirty from the previous occupant, I don't like lukewarm baths.

Not since I was a kid and staying at my aunt's.

I'm surprised people still do it nowadays, to be honest.

Is the OP actually speaking to us through a worm-hole from 1923 ?

Could you bump off a Austrian bloke called Adolph Hitler and save us all a world of pain ?

No because we all have showers. The bath in our house is used as a dumping ground for rubbish.

Well I live on my own so no.

The bath water was shared when I was a child but as the youngest I always had fresh water to bathe in thankfully.

I share the bath with my goldfish, him in it and me sitting on the edge talking to him.

    He loves it.
It's his weekly work out then he goes back in the jam jar.

Is he saying "Look into my eyes, not around my eyes but into my eyes. You are feeling very sleepy. Tell me how to use the tin opener"

Great. Now I'm having fantasies about middle-aged dads sitting in the bath. I'm not going to get any sleep tonight.

Not since 1976 IIRC when we had water rationing.
