Martyrs is another one with a good twist. You start off thinking you know exactly what the film is going to be about, and all of a sudden its about somethng totally different. Great film, but INCREDIBLY violent and gory

Some of my mates ruined the twist in Shutter Island, so is it even worth watching anymore?
It's an okay film, well performed and filmed.
To be honest i'm surprised more people didn't get it earlier. I thought it was obvious from the opening scene!
There's a film called Shattered which isn't great but it's twist is very good. It was my first twist as a movie watcher and I didn't know such a thing existed at the time. I was pretty thrown!

I agree...Martyrs does take an intense twist for the worse.
In a similar vein, have you seen 'Switchblade Romance'? Another foreign horror movie with probably the best twist I've seen in a horror film. Makes you want to rewatch the whole thing (which I have, several times).
The ending of 'Don't Look Now' (Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie) is one of the most disturbing and unexpected surprises I've ever watched. I get chills just thinking about it.
Ditto Se7en. Not exactly a twist but I DEFINITELY didn't see that end coming.
I remember being entirely nonplussed coming out of the cinema after watching Jagged Edge. During the reveal of the bad guy at the end you are shown someone lying upside down on the floor as their balaclava is removed. I was convinced we were shown the janitor guy lol. I couldn't understand the deflated reveal. Don't think I've seen it since. Maybe it was him!
Malice (1993) pulled a few twists I didn't see coming but given the above maybe that is not a ringing endorsement.

Do you mean Memento?
Sadly I have seen them both so many times now,I think that they are now only worth rewatching for the last ten minutes of each.
If you have never seen them( what planet have you been on!) I really recommend them.
One of the most underrated animated films ever. And with a very clever twist. Which i will admit the first time i saw it, there were a few tears
If you want to watch this, you could watch it on youtube!
I usually see twists coming, but didn't see that one! I was too engrossed and raved on about for ages after.
This ^^
Twist-tastic
Oooh yes these were both good twists but then I never see even the obvious coming!
But the one I really didn't see coming was "Remember Me" (2010)
It's an okay film, well performed and filmed.
