Talking about Gareth Jones then we would also have to include his long time girlfriend Violet Berlin.
Also:-
Clive Anderson
Barry Norman Peter Serafinowicz
Every presenter who worked on the train wreak that was Bid-Up TV & sister station Price-Drop tv;-)
Always think back to this show (a Peep Show introduction!):
Pippa Forrester is mainly working behind the camera these days and can sometimes be seen in a nature documentary and eco-friendly commercials (she has a degree in ecology):

You may not see much of Peter Serafinowicz at the moment but you'll hear him doing the voice-over on loads of commercials.
Ho ho ho hilarious I'm tearing up with your references to dead people.
First Rod Hull, now Johnny Morris.
I can picture DS FM's rolling around in paroxysms of laughter.
Go on try Jimmy Saville, because that one is never going to get old..
Once they reach the wrong side of 50 they're dropped like hot potatoes. Fiona Bruce doesn't have long to go now, I imagine. Jenni Murray, I remember her on TV when I was a kid. Nowadays she's strictly Radio 4 only.
I love listening to old Hancock Half Hours, the 1950s cultural references are as interesting as they are extinct.
Lady Docker ?
Lady Almoner ?
Green Shield Stamps ?
Spot The Ball ?
Football Pools ?
I can understand not knowing what Green Shield Stamps are (anyone remember the blue stamps the Co-op did as well?) but not knowing what Spot the Ball or Football Pools are? Seriously?
I remember the green shield stamp books my grandma had and licking and putting the stamps in for her, my father used to do the Pools religiously every saturday or sunday, grandfather too. Never won a penny, which is probably why they died out.
She's reached the age where no TV company will go near her.
Who would be the male contemporarys to these women Juliet Morris, Julia Somerville, Anna Ford, Selina Scott are they still 'about'?
What would/could they be presenting in your opinion.

Oh no, its you again, the most obnoxious and rude FM on DS, ive got you on ignore but for some reason DS showed me this post, i have absolutely no interest in your opinions because you are horrible to other FM's >:(>:(

On this subject I'm suffering brain fade and really can't think of any male contemporary names.
I don't think we saw Bill Turnbull in London around the same time those other names would have been 'current', maybe he was in the regions.
Has Bill Turnbull done anything outside of the News, Breakfast show, seen him on a panel show but that's it.

Rusty Lee had vanished but got a bit part in Benidorm along with the Crankies

Norris McWhirter or his twin
Well, considering all three are no longer with us...!

Them 2 from How Clean is your House

Is she still around on some little watched channel?
Once upon a time, she had her own button on every telly remote control in the UK & now, nothing!
She's reached the age where no TV company will go near her.

I am sure she was my first crush as a child...
