Seems Danielle McMahon pressed assault charges against Helen from the wrap party following their series. Helen was questioned, cautioned then released without being charged.

Are we sure it wasn't Nadia that called the police? :D:D
Are you? I'm not in the least surprised really - very strange spite driven individual IMO.
Are you talking about Helen?
Nope.
I'm talking - the lying, neurotic, fame hungry, seriously screwed up - Danielle.
To be fair that could apply to them both.
Yeah - I'll concede that - (just the once mind);-)
I agree. Danielle is one of my all-time least favourite HMs. I know some people found her innocuous or inoffensive, but she showed some of my least favourite traits in humans: hypocritical, deceitful, delusional, manipulative and weak.
Completely agree Scarlet. I despised Danielle with a passion. Having said that throwing a drink is assault so have no problem with her reporting this to the police but I can see how she could drive a person to react like that
Totally agree - Helen is a loud, obnoxious bully with a past BUT what you see and hear is what you get, she certainly doesn't try and be anything she isn't, unlike the sainted Danielle, well according to the Saint Danielle PR machine at least!
Spot On;-) couldn't agree more.
Is having a drink thrown over you, considered assault. Genuine question
I loathe Helen Wood with a passion but I dislike that fake Danielle too.
I believe it would be classed as a minor assault. Given Acid attacks, I should imagine the distress it would cause would count too.
Still didn't like her, always said she was dodgy, the way she would play miss innocent when someone came on to her was laughable.
Helen was, well what to say that hasn't been said before, nope got nothing .
Not nice people that year, start of the slippery slope.
Thanks ks;-):)
I would agree with your perception of Danielle.
I didn't realize throwing a drink is considered an assault, seems a bit silly to be a police matter imo unless you throw the glass also. I do think publicly criticizing her parenting skills was fighting words. Surely Danielle knew Helen would retaliate somehow.
What would you call it? Danielle has every right to report it. You can't go around throwing your drink over everyone whenever it takes your fancy. Helen obviously had a guilty conscience. When I think about her I want to vomit.
Not a Helen fan at all!! If its classed as minor assault, fair enough.
I know in BBUSA, a HM in s8 dumped some iced tea (the liquid only) on another's head. It didn't result in any punishment that I can remember, perhaps a warning. It just doesn't seem to be harmful enough imo for police charges. Now throwing the glass, or a harmful liquid definitely!
I also think that criticizing someone's parenting skills (without ever witnessing said parent with child) is just not smart, as most people would be angered by that. Danielle should've limited her insults to Helen.
