Are they not even hiding the fact this week that they are all actors? Maybe they figured they could sort of double bluff everyone by saying "look look guys! They are actors but they really reall really are getting hypnotised!!"
It's not the contestants who are from Corrie, I imagine they'll come in to a different game.
Somebody, on Radio 5's telly reviews, said that the people aren't really hypnotised, but they are suggestible people who really want to be on telly, so they really throw themselves into it.
That makes sense to me.
I've only actually seen the trailers for this show, to be honest.
Well hypnosis has been around for over 100 years so I don't know why people are questioning just this show like hypnosis is something ITV has just invented and trying to get people to believe it.

Hypnosis is not and has never been an absolute. The brain can interpret things as it wishes with different results than wanted.
They are dealing with humans not programmable robots.
