    I've got goosebumps.

Ditto, it's incredibly moving, specially for those of us like myself who have always been Ricardians and never believed the hype :)

Yes!!! And what a dumb question. As Sikhs do you feel a connection with the last English king to die in battle.

They're not treating him as a person but as a box of bones. Why is it all political? None of this represents Richard

Another dumb question to the guy in the suit of armour. What would have been going through his mind just before the end? I thought Jon Snow was supposed to be a reputable presenter.

This is a fantastic and unique piece of history happening live.

Although it's not because it's been hijacked by all the political correctness brigade.

This could of been a great insight to medieval England and teaching about Richards era and ways of life

    Thanks for the thread Billy.

I'm very impressed by Channel 4's coverage thus far.

    I'm also quite emotional.

I have not been very impressed, they have had nothing all day whereas BBC News has been covering quite a lot of it.

One glaring mistake from one of the commentator who referred to the Houses of York and Lancashire.

Not heard any mention in the commentary but I presume the mounted police escort were from the City of London Police from their hats, presume Leicester plod do not have a mounted branch.

I was watching this last night and Phillipa had a bit of a moment and shed a tear.

I am more interested to what happened to the two young children that disappeared.

She has spent years researching and campaigning so I think a few tears are to be expected.

Exactly, what did happen to the 2 boys? They seem to be swerving that one.

I think this is all far too much fuss for someone who didn't sound like a particularly nice guy.

No one knows and not likely to ever know.

What of they dig up a relative? Boys are supposedly in Westminster but their sister is in Norfolk somewhere and they could match her DNa to her uncle

Why can't John Snow & the other reporters shut up & let us watch the service !

One of the men in armour on horseback is Dominic Smee , who has the same scoliosis as Richard 111

That embroidered pall covering the coffin is quite beautiful !

Even if they did that wouldn't prove who killed the two princes.

I am really loving this having had an interest in Richard III since I was fourteen years old. He must have been in dreadful pain all the time with his back problem. I am in pain all the time but can at least take modern pain killers, poor Richard had nothing like that.

May he rest in the peace that he deserves.

Me too. I wasn't particularly impressed with the Channel 4 programme last night.

My 7 year old however was extremely impressed with the Knight in shining armour accompanying the coffin!!

They are, it was mentioned at the beginning of the ceremonies on BBC Radio Leicester.
