Yes, I truly haven't seen one bad review of the song, it seems everybody really really likes it which is great. I think it is also due to the fact that nobody was expecting this type of musical style from an ex-Westlifer so everyone is just pleasantly shocked
I found him on kworb site that shows iTunes worldwide performance. So for only Cambodia is shown and he is at #7:
They move fast! It's be really cool if it was out before his first gig.
I actually think that is exactly what they intend to do which would be a good move.
However, I am a still little worried that 19th of April is too far away. Since he revealed the song to the public last week, I was hoping he would release it in mid March, not April - I just hope that doesn't harm his chance for a good chart position and sales.
They’re more slow songs with a lot less going on, just a piano and my voice, for instance.” - I can't wait to hear those songs!
And also I love how he commented on Shane: I wouldn’t say it didn’t do well. It depends on how you measure success.“He’s really happy and enjoying himself. He’s in a great place in his life. To me, that’s success.”
He is right, Shane's career definitely didn't flop because he did have a very solid sol out tour, plus if it was so bad, label would have dropped him, but they didn't.
I think the concept is very good, it fits perfectly to the song. And I like these types of videos than all those boring Westlife ones where they just stood and looked pretty
here are all the videos I could find on Mark's concert He sang new song called Butterfly and my favorite Talk Me Down - it is so great to finally see him perform that song.
Butterfly - its not the best quality, but at least we can hear a new song, it sounds great:
Is it just me or did I see it correctly that Mark didn't sing much of the chorus on Butterfly? Makes me wonder if he will collaborate with someone on this song as I mainly heard a female backing vocal.
it's been a while since i get online, congratulations to Mark!
I've seen the video of his single, it is quite good, but I love the song for than the video
Oh good, I was starting to feel like I was talking to myself
Did you listen to the new songs he performed, what do you think? I love them all, my favorites so far are Sirens, Wash The Pain Away and Fire. I can't wait to hear all these songs in perfect quality.

Looking forward to finishing off this weeks writing sessions & then getting stuck into some radio visits next week in the UK (including some acoustic performances that I can't wait for!)
Hated Westlife and their Mum music, but Love Is a Drug is one of the best songs of 2015 IMO. I absolutely LOVE it! Fanastic singer who was clearly wasted in Westlife!

I'm glad someone who hates Westlife loves this, nice to see non-Westlife fans supporting Mark
But I disagree he was wasted in Westlife because he got a chance to perfect his vocals. Trust me, he was actually pretty awful in the beginning of Westlife, always trying to improvise and messing up all over the place
I remember I got so frustrated that I wasn’t able to participate in the writing process. I’m not saying I was ready at 18 or 23, but over the years I became more and more frustrated that they wouldn’t let me get involved. In fact, it was pretty much frowned upon.
There was this one time when our US team told us we had a chance to write with Ryan Tedder and we could choose which one of us would work with him, but someone at our label said that it was probably best to leave the writing to him. “You’re not songwriters,” they said, “you’re singers, leave the songwriting to them…” That really ****ing got to me! This person was telling me that, on my behalf, they had turned down the opportunity to work with a globally successful songwriter. What pisses me off most is that the label had never even ****ing bothered to check to see if I could actually write a song.
So again, Westlife shouldn't be blamed for what they were, they didn't get the chance. Simon is truly such a moron for treating them this way. And look how is he now treating 1D, I guess he finally figured he made a mistake. He truly ruined our boys in the end - like I said countless times. if they had more freedom and own choices, I bet they wouldn't have felt so unhappy that they had to disband.

He said last night that his debut solo album could be released end of Summer or hopefully later this year!
.@MarkusFeehily is also hoping to do some Summer shows. He said though that nothing is sure so he doesnt want to give promises he wont keep
Remember how I told you a few weeks ago how Mark, Shane and Brian were included in the poll "Greatest going solo debut of 21st century"?
Well Mark won the poll!
You can see the entire list here:
http://playlisted.uk/greatest-going-solo-debuts-of-the-21st-century-results/
And also, Music site The Version held a little poll, sort of like the awards that they named Music Honours. People voted of the winners.
Well, Mark won the award for Best Future Solo Act.
Its not such a huge deal but it shows he has a loyal fanbase.
I AM!

Also, famous blogger Perez Hilton praised Mark single. This is great as he is from USA so good word will spread around:
Listen To This: Feeeeel!
There is hope for Zayn!
Markus Feehily is best known for being a member of boy band Westlife. But he’s now going solo!
And the results are quite good!
Mature pop, he’s giving us some Robbie Williams vibe!
Check out Love Is A Drug above!
