Now Boris Johnson calls Ed Miliband "deranged"

Charming... The nasty party reverted to type quickly. And a bit rich from the man who ordered water cannons that were banned in Germany for blinding people and breaking their limbs.
Apparently desperate Tories will be weaponising Boris and wheeling him out in the campaign trail next week because Dave is too boring. Cameron's heart just doesn't seem to be in it anymore, no wonder he only wants to do a few more years.

No one could ever weaponize Boris. He is and always will be a loose cannon.
Cameron's heart certainly is in it to win it.
Win or lose the Conservatives are going to have a new leader very quickly. I don't believe Cameron will still be party leader by the end of 2016, and maybe even before that.
As to his comment, I don't expect he really thinks Ed is deranged, but he'll say it just for the effect.
Wouldn't his past tangled love life be a bit of a stumbling block? Also, could you really imagine that buffoon on the world stage?
Is their no end to the different facets of Ed's talents
What it says about politics in this generation is equally scarey.
Has there ever been a poll suggesting that the Tories stand a better chance of winning a GE under Boris, and were those who said yes just taking the piss?
Which I'm not!
Boris is exactly the same cut of cloth as Cameron. Look beyond the personable affable chap and do not be fooled by him.
Boris is actually very sharp. Much brighter than both Cameron and Osborne, but his ideas are a strange mixture of right wing small government efficiency and high spending self-aggrandisement. He'd be a disaster for us as PM, a megalomaniac dictator. But a very personable one. I think he'd go down very well with foreign leaders, especially the USA.
Why should anyone listen to Boris Johnson for anyway, didn't he originally say he wouldn't stand as an MP in the 2015 election and is now the Tory candidate for Uxbridge, meaning if he wins that seat that he will be a part time Mayor?
I think he's been a very part time Mayor anyway ever since 2008 and he just took the credit for a lot things that Ken Livingstone started from the bikes, affordable houses and Ken's/Labour's part in the Olympics too. Boris Johnson seems to have delegated most of his work too to his various commisioners and Deputy Mayor's along the years. It was obvious early on in is Mayoralty too.
More dangerous than the SNP will ever be.
In terms of return on investment he's probably right. Spending £100m on a new road in London will benefit more people than building it in the Highhlands. However that doesn't mean that you don't invest elsewhere in the country - you just need to expect a lower return.
Seems similar to those who vote for him.
I don't agree there. Johnson is every bit as odious as Cameron and even more clueless.
Johnson has been a disaster as London mayor. He would be an even bigger disaster trying to run a country.
conservatives together evil forever
hear is some music the conservatives in their campaign

What was he supposed to do to stop property prices rising? I'm sure they rose just as much under Comrade Ken.
Those stills make you realise just how ugly the Tories are.
It shows Mr Johnson in a bad light. One wonders if this is desperation from the Conservatives.
Although the media will try to turn the GE into a contest of personalities, for most voters, they will judge the coalition government, on its performance during the last five years.
For the voter to decide..
Has this government made a better UK?
Has this government made a worse UK?
