How bad an interviewer is he? His technique is awful, his questions immature he constantly talks over the answer to the question he has just asked and gets his research wrong. Can't the BBC find someone better?

It's the BBC, they don't care about quality, only agenda.

    He's a perfect fit.

He only has the job because he ticks a number of the BBC's boxes.

A lot of interviewers are like that these days. I know politicians do their best not to give answers but it's just as bad when the interviewer won't let them speak.

I think he gave Farage more of a chance to talk than Miliband and Cameron. I was getting frustrated for them in their interviews with all Davis's constant talking over.

He is reading the questions from a card.

I don't like him at all as an interviewer.

I don't mind him. While Paxo was "hard hitting", he was actually quite rude at times and that got up my nose a bit.

I think he should be in Spectre as Bond's gay brother.

He was awful in the Farage interview (and what's up with that hair?? or lack of? - it turns my stomach).

I couldn't believe the breastfeeding question.
I've never seen this man before as I don't usually watch these type of interviews, but if this is typical of his banal questioning I shan't in future.

Memo for Evan Davies -I couldn't give a flying **** about any politicians' views on breastfeeding.

His also gay, which means the BBC can say, oh look we have given a gay person a top position.

Not his problem, but the BBC will use it for their own credibility.

Gollum-esque is what he is, poor thing.

Don't agree with the tedious old 'this is BBC agenda' bullcrap.
If they have a lefty agenda why is obvious tory boy Nick Robinson the chief political editor?
