So so pathetic,
What kid in half decent shape can't jog for 20 odd minutes, it's 3 miles.
They seriously need a slap for acting like this is some sort of amazing archivement.

What awful parents they are.
I s'pose I deserve the chair.
It's not about it being a standout achievement, but more about their son achieving something.
Probably not capable.
To be fair, 3 miles in 19mins is pretty good going for a 12yr old!
I don't think most of us 'jog' 3 miles in 18.54. But congratulations on one of the silliest OP's I have seen for quite a while.
19 mins for 3 miles is more than decent for anyone, let alone a 12 year old.
I would wager that the op couldn't do that.
yes i have, mine and other`s.
it`s totally different from sad crying, you get goose bumps, your chest feels like it`s filling up with thick honey, you kind of breath high and then it all spills out of your eyes.
If the boy(s) were hanging around falling out of nightclubs and mugging old ladies, we'd all be criticising them and here they are encouraging him to do something positive and people are still not satisfied.
I think, considering the money they have and that neither of them ever needs to lift a finger again, the Beckhams seem good parents and trying to instil good values in their children rather than letting them grow into spoilt brats.
Sounds an unusual feeling - I've definitely not had that happen to me - I don't suppose I ever will:(. I'd be interested to know what has happened to people to make them cry with joy though.
Perfect description
And whilst no particular fan of the Beckhams (don't hate, just not bothered), taking a pop at the parents because they're proud of their son - so, so pathetic.
I did, about 17 miles into a marathon that I was probably too ill to be running when, and I kid you not, this song of all things came onto my ipod:

it`s just anything that hits the right chord.
the infant class singing away in a manger at the school play - doesn`t matter whether you know any of the children or not - has me every single time, i`getting emotional just typing it. :rolleyes : @self.
thank you
