If Tim had caught Sally with a real pressure washer it would have caused serious injury, not just a soaking. They are not toys. Very irresponsible scene.
Hardly, its hardly a fire hose, if it was set to a single thin pin jet then maybe but it was clearly on a wide spray at a decent enough distance away which is just right for nice cooling hose down in summer:D. Done it many times at home & work & I dont mean with cheap weak washers.:)
How long does it take to make a curry? Roy mentioned it earlier in the day, then was working in the cafe before going on his driving lesson but when he got back everything was ready for eating! And he'd managed to get all the ingredients!
From what I remember of that - he said that he was going to prepare everything earlier in the day before the driving lesson - so it doesn't take long if you've got all your stuff ready.
Why couldn't they have just had Tim and Sally already owning one, or if they had to borrow one, maybe more believable would be Tim cadging it from say, the garage? Emily must have one hell of a problem with the moss on her back wall if Norris has to jet wash it off once every two weeks! Surprised that
a) She's got any back wall left if he's been doing this for a year or so
b) The other houses haven't got back doors that can't be reached due to impenetrable moss!
I think the thread title should be changed, as a large portion of posts have nothing to do with SOR, perhaps it should just be called 'Corrie discussion ' ?
Sor going back to the tram crash, in front of the rebuilt viaduct wall on both sets is a telegraph pole, so how come on the crash scenes there is no pole, which would have changed the whole course of the tram or even stopped it going over the edge. It might have sent it over the other side of the viaduct in the nether world we never see
Considering he has only just learnt to read, I doubt Tim would be able to point out missing apostrophes on the Kabin noticeboard. Was quite amusing though

Almost as if the writers were giving a nod to the absurdity of the storyline. Agreed though, definitely amusing, as is most stuff that Tim does!
Some reports say she has quit, some say she is taking a break.
From what I read the official statement given to DS was that she was taking a sabbatical, and would return.
The question is who will run Underworld in her absence? I vote for Alya Nazir or Michelle taking a sabbatical from the Rovers ! However, the more 'interesting' storyline would be if it were given to Sally !

Carla is another who gets free drink in the bistro
Did anything look as unrealistic as Kevin and Co having a kick about with Jack, although it seems all actors are athletic and no good at football.
Bethany doesn't seem to go to school much but when did she get the uniform and who paid for it? She sees her mother with 'secret' boyfriend on the doorstep with mother holding a box, saying 'is that for me' at a range where she might not be able to see what it is and why should she think whatever it is is for her?
The Wednesday episode and the two on Friday all written by different people, No wonder they get so many storyline and continuity problems.

BIB - the on-screen relationship with Kevin his little boy is not good. If you look carefully at their scenes together the child obviously doesn't know his "daddy" well at all and obviously doesn't want to have much to do with him. Kevin also acts very carefully around Jack, not being overly touchy with him.
On the other hand, the other night, Jack was really cuddling into Sofie and obviously knows her very well. It must be so difficult acting with very small children.

It must be very difficult and the child who plays Jack never looks comfortable on screen.
As for Sophie... Jenny chats to Kev outside the garage and there she is outside the shop. Sophie is just standing there staring at them. Doesn't she have work to do?! When Jenny and Sophie had a row, Sophie was back to her screeching foghorn best. Corrie need to give a warning. Than one could make ears bleed.

What's with the socks? Do girls her age really wear them to school?
The original Sophie (Ashleigh Middleton) was replaced as she was always crying on screen. Jack is played by twins (jaxon and madox beswick ) and they don't look happy to be there. Worked with kids and if they don't like you they don't pretend

In the shop that runs itself because she is the only one that works there!

ody.
Norris. Any excuse to have him poke his nose in and be an interferring busybody.
If you are using a decent pressure washer, such as a Karcher, then you do not need to also be brushing at the wall to remove the paint / graffiti, as it should easily get it off rapidly with the jet at the right pressure, which on CS it clearly was not. Did they think they were washing a car?

Or nitpicking every little detail. Or "It didn't go how I wanted it so it's a SOR". :p
