That water on the New Muzik performance was like my house last night with a leak from the hot water tank through the ceiling into the downstairs loo, and an emergency plumber out at 3am! Still got a bucket catching the last drips tonight. :(

I wish I'd been old enough to do clubs when disco was in full flow in the seventies.

Narada did the same trick exactly 8 years later at the same position with Divine Emotions. Such a great bass hook on I Shoulda Loved Ya.

Don't know this one, but I'm expecting it to sound a tad Jam-esque...

The Chords. Never heard of 'em. Looks like a case of a record company exec saying to the A&R guy, "go sign a band who sound a bit like The Jam".

This is so forgettable I've forgotten it while it's still playing.

Damn - forgot the time and missed the first couple of tracks. World of Water is a good one, too. For those new to New Musik you should definitely check out the debut album From A To B, it's great.

    Not good Rich! :(
Yeah, TOTP 1980 rubbing my nose in it from the off, who'd have thought! :p

Such a great track so I forgive.

Chords lead singer has the same hair I had aged almost 11 in 1980 at that time!

Not sure about the track though.

We all had that haircut in 1980...the shame! :D

Chords were as people here say - basically a Mod-rehash act. IIRC - wasn't Quadrophenia going round the cinema circuits at this time?
