I think back in the Eighties and early Nineties there were quite a few shows from Australia that were pretty good We had The Young Doctors and Sons and Daughters which i loved Does anyone here remember classic Australian TV shows from the past

Paul Hogan had a sketch show/sit-com that had a run over here.

Let The Blood Run Free was funny in a very small way.

The Flying Doctors (with Peter O'Brien who played Shane Ramsay in the early years of Neighbours) & The Henderson Kids (with a pre-Neighbours Kylie Minogue)

I remember A Country Practice from when I used to skive off school. The theme tune used to make me want to go to sleep :-)

There was a soap called Paradise Beach. It was shown on Sky and oddly enough; Grampian TV

I/We've done this thread before, these shows haven't been forgotten.
Sullivan's, good show about the war years.
I remember Outsiders, well I remember the emotion, if not what they got up to.
A Country Practice, I remember the emotion involved at the Death of Shirley Gilroy.
Sons and Daughters, Love and Laughter, Tears of Sadness and happiness...'
Home Sweet Home, with John Bluthal I remember running home from School to see that, just looked it up, only 24 episodes and created be Vince Powell.
Given his track record, probably a good thing if I never see an episode again, it'll ruin the memory.

The terrific adventures of the terrible ten and the Flying Doctors are two shows I remember, and the Magic Boomerang, showing my age !

I remember Boney an Aborigini (half Aborigini) police detective back in the 60s early 70s. It was this and other programs like it that put me off Oz, it seemed every body lived in ghost town type of places in the middle of nowhere:D

Don't think it was ever shown here, but I used to watch re-runs of 'Number 96' when I was in Australia in the 80s. Aunt Fiona Thompson (Sons & Daughters) was in it. I didn't see all of them, as I wasn't there long enough. But as a young kid I remember a lot of nudity!
