I literally have no idea how to function right now. Like seriously I'm at a loss for words. Just what. How? Why? I can't.
The one that clicked for me instantly was Thunder. They made an AMAZING decision of making it (possibly) lead single in the US. The chorus is extremely catchy, the melody is amazing, and it's different to what's in the Top 50 right now but it has similarities to SWM so it's not too different to be ignored. I'm ready for it's slayage.
The vocals and lyrics on power are just simply stunning. Ladders sounds really good and super easy to listen too and I can't wait to hear the rest! I Am is super emotional and I can definitely see it working well as a single too, although it didn't click right away for me.
I am honestly shocked by how amazing this album is. Get ready guys, the I Am era is coming like a freight train to slay us all
I like thunder the best ... So happy it's what theyre focusing on .... For me the worst of the 5 on those snippets was I am ... Really didn't like it but again let's see what happens ... I want the album now grrrrrr

This album sounds really organic. When Leona said her other albums were organic, I think this one just blows everything out of the water. Instrumentally all of them sound fairly cohesive and those vocals are superb.
I actually really enjoy Thunder it was the first song that really clicked with me. Mostly because the instrumental is friendly. Ladders is interesting, its doesn't necessarily sound like a filler but it definitely more tame is a good way, if she executes the bridge well I could see it being a good song. Then again all of this songs are good
I don't know but does Thunder sound shorter than the other snips?

Also Leona does two F#5 belts. One at the end of the I Am snippet and the other in power when she goes "III, feel the power". Both are quite a lighter mix and rather effortless!!
Also I think I've figured out the "Power" high note runs now:
First quick run: B5-C#6-Eb6-C#6 (Slides down to B5 just at the end).
Thunder is amazing, I love the chorus. This is definitely single material.
Like someone has already mentioned the chords at the beginning indeed sound a bit like "stay with me", I hope people won't believe it's the song.
