I honestly don't know what is happening with Sharon and Phil nowadays. After their wedding, Sharon and Phil's relationship have been rocky. Sharon keeps forgiving Phil ALL THE TIME (Dennis' death, the thugs who attacked her, Phil and Shirley's affair, Phil abandoning her this year, the fake dad). But we all know that Kathy Beale is on her way back to Walford. Is Sharon going to forgive Phil for knowing about Kathy and withholding information from her? Will Kathy and Phil have an affair? We all know Phil and Kathy were in a serious relationship in the 90s. And most importantly, will Phil and Sharon break up? Or are they going to be an "endgame" couple?

'Were in a serious relationship'
That's a good way of describing a married couple! lol
Now Kathy is back it does changes things a lot, I don't think Sharon and Phil would ever been end game, both characters are very fickle and none of their marriages have lasted longer then a song so I think that will give you a idea of what will happen to their marriage, if they make their second anniversary intact then I will be surprised.
I think the reasoning behind Sharon forgiving Phil is in part of why most women he ever been with forgive him, Phil has to win, but also this is her third marriage, she been drifting for years now with no solid foundations, now Phil isn't anyone fantasy of a perfect marriage or husband but she knows him well enough and he familiar and someone she always gone to for help or relied on in the past so I guess it more the better the devil you know sort of thing.
Kathy is gonna be a big sore point because there is unresolved issues between them all and I think DTC might not resist the temptation of affairgate round two with Phil and Kathy, Phil loved Kathy but he drinking and cheating ways was the biggest instigator of why it never worked between them, he became a mess and a violent drunk when he was with Kathy, but lots happen since then so who knows, like Sharon she turned to Phil for help and they have Ben who will probably want he parents together.
So I don't think Sharon and him are destined to last
That will be the issue with her, that's why I'm unsure of what the status will be, we don't want another two years of her floating about and like you said it been given the impression there in it for the long haul so they could very much keep them together for a while, LD seems to be staying for the foreseeable.
I think they should just go down the Den and Angie route and have Shazza give him Christmas Day Divorce Papers!
I am intrigued by that! Probably more than Kathy a bit!
They could break with Soap tradition and show that women don't always need to be tied to a man to be successful. There's plenty of empty properties she and her invisible child can move into and she's still got her income from The Albert so she wouldn't be financially dependant on King Philth.
I've got my fingers crossed that Kathy remembers why she left Phil and isn't tempted to go there again, but this is EastEnders so I guess an affair is inevitable.
I can't wait to see Kathy either
It felt amazing seeing her during the lives although when I heard the rumours I was against it
Sharon will have a strop that Phil kept secrets from her, she'll give him an ultimatum that it's either Kathy or her. Phil will ignore her and at the end of the episode Sharon will say she is getting her revenge. But by the next episode it will have all been forgotten about.
Paul Nicholas is doing theatre from now up till November so either he is only in it for a short stint or we will have to wait till the new year before he turns up again.
Ah bloody hell
It's possible he may film scenes in between but I doubt it with this schedule

Maybe he can be a recurring character like Elaine
Hopefully, Paul Nicholas is a bit of a silver fox and I reckon he will be great for EE.
Grant can return for sharon
I burst out laughing. It's certainly a brave move. I applaud them for it.
Yes!
Phil shags Kathy on the Albert balcony - See above.
Phil enters Denny into the trials for the new Dulux dog - See above.
Phil digs Angie up and uses her hair for his Brian May impressions - See above.
I shouted WTF so loud my dog ran out of the room. The audacity of it was just... :D
I was a Kathy return sceptic but now I'm pretty excited about it. This is the biggest return since Dirty Den way back in 2003.
:D:D:D
Must admit I would probably have given up on EE without the return. The other stuff isn't really holding my interest. I loved Den's return, hope its as good as that initially was.
