    I got 12 - just Norman's temp wrong.

That was possibly the question I got wrong. I just guessed. I thought it was a peculiar question as I don't remember any mention of it during the series.

I'm not taking to Paul (contestant) much but his lion bread was amazing :)

Sadly the lion has been shot

The lion was fabulous, if Paul II had not ended up last in the technical round, he would have been the star baker, I am sure. It just went against Paul I rules, so he at least had given him that commendation to acknowledge the excellence of it. Dorret was mad if she thought she could wing it. 5 hours to spend and she did not practice her idea once. And even if it was supposed to be untidy, it should have had a certain order, beauty and a level of execution.

I like them all, Sandy, Tamal, Paul, and Nadya slightly more. Not keen on Alvin and Ian much. Ambivalent about the rest. It's all a bit irrational, probably based on what they did or said in a particular episode. Sandy makes me laugh.

I wonder what they'd do if the baker who got evicted had booked a holiday the week 'their' episode was due to be shown.

Not sure I'd want bread that appears to have been painted with metallic paint.

Dorrett is lovely but she had three weeks in the bakeoff tent and could have gone out in any of them.

It's probably in the contract they sign that they have to be available for the whole time the actual programme and Extra Slice are to be shown. If they did disappear, I doubt it would be worth Love Productions taking any action against them and I suspect Jo Brand would just say that unfortunately the person wasn't available and, with the person not listening backstage, there'd be no need to be at all polite in their criticisms.

That french baker wasn't particularly polite when Dorrett was listening backstage :D.
