Just read that my local IMAX have started taking bookings for Deadpool, including a Midnight Premier. I know it is £16, but it needs to be done. :D

Don't think so as Deadpool only has a runtime of 108 minutes

I know, i'm hoping the 120 minutes was a provisional length. None of the other contenders are exactly 120 minutes either. It's possibly going to be Concusion though, which I'm not interested in.

If it is Concusion, I will leave. Also if its Deadpool, I'm stepping out as I've got my IMAX tickets booked

I've not been to a secret screening before. Do you know if you get told in advance, or is it literally as the movie starts that you find out?

In the past they have done clues in the build up, but sometimes they make no sense. It is only confirmed what film it is, when the BBFC rating is shown

Thanks. I really hope it is Deadpool now as I don't like walking out of movies. I'll keep 'em peeled for clues in the meantime.

I think it may be the Sacha Baron Cohan film, Grimsby. The timing is about right for it

Grimsby does come out on the 24th February but only has a runtime of 82 minutes, if that information on IMDB is correct.

Getting back to Deadpool, have booked my IMAX ticket for the midnight screening. :D

I know that's one of the possibilities. I'll stay for that.

Apparently one of the lines that didn't make the final cut of Deadpool was.

"You look like someone grabbed your balls and pulled them up through your arse out of your mouth then wrapped it around your head" :D:D:D

Hopefully the directors cut would happen as that is a brilliant insult. :D

There is an tv advert with Deadpool and the Manchester United team which is online now and is very strange but I guess it's just for the British market!

He was The Green Lantern too, doesn't help I keep getting him confused with Ryan Gosling from Drive.

A directors cut has been announced, but some of these will have to be in the deleted scenes. Sounds like they went at it for quite a while.

They've also said there were a few that won't be included at all because they were 'offensive' >:(

Probably not - Grismy hasn't been rated yet by the BBFC (although I'm 99.9% sure that it will be a 15 when it does eventually get rated)

So quite a few postitive 4 star reviews of Deadpool but a few average ones like the 3 star review from Empire!

It definitely seems like it's worth a watch though!

Yeah mostly good reviews. I'm glad as i was very much on the fence with this film and was kinda waiting for reviews to sway me one way or the other.

The "bad" review on Metacritic is hilarious tho. Clearly from someone who doesn't get what the film was about or what it was trying to do.

I've just read that and it did make me smile :). It says a lot that he rates Gina Carano as an actress ..

One of the comments did sum it up well though ..
there's always that one Critic, who tries to be the unique, beautiful butterfly, like the c*** who didn't give Toy Story 3 a perfect score so instead of being the 3rd film in the series with a PERFECT 100% it had to settle for a 99. Here's one of those people.............ugh get f****d!!! But i bet he gives MCU films nothing less than a C.

Apparently there's already a porn parody called "This can't be Deadpool" ..

Just got back from seeing it and I loved it as it gave something a little different from the typical Super Hero film.
The extra scenes during the credits will only be understood by 80's film fans

Will buy Deadpool on Blu-ray when it gets released, even more so when the directors cut gets released.

I'm not in any way jealous you've seen it already :)

I'm planning on seeing it today though.

    I did :D

Just got out and I loved it. Everything I'd hoped for and more. The scene where he's trying to fight Colossus was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I want to see it again already !

Glad you enjoyed it and yes everything from the Beginning credits, right through to the post credit scenes was bizarre & unique but also comical throughout. I will no doubt give it another watch before it gets taken off, but will look forward to the Blu-ray. :D
