Oh well the show has been cancelled.
I blame the fact that this season the storylines were too gloomy.
Yeah, this season has been bloody dreadful in comparison to the first three. I'm no surprised people have stopped watching, it became less about Nashville and the music and all about the damn angsty drama.
Yesterday's episode I was yelling when they had Deacon first leaving the AA meeting then sat with the bottle of whiskey so I was actually quite pleasantly surprised when they had him answer the phone instead of getting plastered again.
Still if they end this season on a bloody bum note it really will be a crying shame.

Yes I was the same. The storyline would have been good at the start of the season with a resolution in the middle, but to leave it to the end with the earlier gloomy storylines it is just too much.
I really wanted his partner and the daughter to get their comeuppance but it will be too late now.
Fingers crossed they did what Revenge did and have the final episode done as a wrap-up as a safety. But a lot of reports are suggesting it ends on a cliffhanger. More fool the writers if true. It's been doing awful all season. They should of had the sense to do some wrap up.
I don't know where I will bother with the second half of season 4 if it ends on a cliffhanger.
In other bad news, Hayden has checked her self back into rehab due to her depression again.
It was. I'm not much of a fan of his but that was a good set piece, and a nice surprise.
Juliette and Avery are going to get back together or I'll eat my hat:D Gunner and Scarlett, quit the flim-flam and declare how you both feel. And dump that April Showers woman or whatever her name is.
Great that Luke and son have patched things up.
Looking forward to Will facing things down. Finally:)
If the cliffhanger ending is per LM's spoiler, well it kind of sums up my feelings about that car crash of a storyline. Rather ironic really.
As feared, it ended on an almight cliffhanger although the rumor I heard was different and clearly crap.
It ended with Juliette's plane going missing
Lionsgate (which i think is the production company) seems totally committed in getting this show revived elsewhere. Even if it is a 2 hour wrap up movie. I really want this show given a nice send off. The contracts expire in july so they have plenty of time
An alternate ending has been filmed. Instead of Juliette's plane going missing, it would of seen Juliette's plane decide not to jet off and have her and avery reunite. But the scene was cut as Lionsgate felt that by having a cliffhanger would make the show more attractive to a potential new home
A satisfying wrap up, as there was a hell of a lot of internal shots, makes me think a lot was reshot. Sad to see it go, always enjoyed it, liked that they employed quality nashville songwriters and treated country music in a modern and appreciative fashion.
I'm afraid ,when it comes to celebs,I'm an old cynic and making an event out of a haircut just seems like a publicity stunt, even though it raised awareness of the issue
Aubrey Peeples and Will Chase who play Leyla and Luke are apparently not returning, but everyone else is expected back. Nothing official just yet. Although Will did post a cryptic tweet suggesting his cowboy boots were coming off. It seems he has bagged a role on the musical Cats.
I personally found Leyla and Luke had come to their end point during season 4. I couldn't see what else their characters could do.
Musically I liked Luke Wheelers songs, I like Will Chases delivery and thought he had been given some of the more choice songs. Storyline wise I would think that it was the right time to have him leave, I do feel that as a character though they need a large superstar ala Tim McGraw, so potentially there is room for a character introduction.
As for Aubrey Peeples, I dislike her music as I do dislike her characters music, I saw her in concert last year and it left me cold, the character I would keep as a bitch is needed in the show.
Anyone go to any of the Nashville concerts? I was at the Dublin one on Monday night and it was fantastic. Charles Esten has an amazing stage presence, quite the superstar!! All the performers were brilliant, especially Sam and Claire.
They are all so excited and delighted to have the show picked up for a fifth season. A truly lovely bunch of people, not a bit up themselves and very talented each and every one of them.

Such a shame. I love this show

Season 3 was as gripping as the first 2 but it sounds like 4 lost its way somewhere. Anyone know when this will be aired on TV here?
Geektown has it as airing in June but no date announced as yet.
I blame the writers and producer's at the end of the day. Not ABC

The actress must be blind if she thinks she looks better with the Peter Pan cut.
There are still talks going on about saving this show. Hulu is looking to be the big contender.
Yes sadly she did a 'Felicity' to the show when she cut her hair.
She did it for a good cause in real life though.
Aww that's nice.
What was the cause? Did she donate her hair to be made into wigs for cancer patients?

In sympathy for childhood cancer patients.
