Honest Man. The Life of R. Budd Dwyer, documentary about US politician who shot himself whilst delivering a press conference in 1987. I watched the documentary after seeing the news footage of his suicide, which I should warn is extremely graphic and unbelievably was shown unedited on US news at 5pm. The documentary is the story of the lead up to his death, he was an innocent man wronged by the US justice system and the documentary is well worth watching.

i`d like to watch that, could you link it for me please
I watched the BBC documentary Bitter Lake the other day, and it this 'unknown' haunting melody which it started with. Had me scurrying to Google for an answer, and since nabbed it off of YT. Totally stopped in my seat by a tune on first listening - virtually never happens for me. I'd never even heard of the band (Burial) much less the song
I've just finished watching it. I'd seen the footage of his suicide before but never heard the full story. Such a tragedy I almost shed a tear towards the end. What a travesty of justice! I thought this part stood out too (at 1:03:10):
You know it's like the Kennedy assassination, everybody, you know, ad nauseum, watches the Zapruder film with Kennedy's brain being blown off but they don't play the great nomination, the New Frontier speech, where Kennedy talked about, "Look, we're gonna build a fire that can truly light the world and we're gonna give people hope or we're gonna descend into a politic of greed and we're gonna destroy ourselves", which is what's happening now.
And with that in mind here's John F. Kennedy's Democratic National Convention nomination acceptance address in 1960; "The New Frontier" .

The moment that he pulls the trigger is shown unedited once. Just look away when you see him move the gun towards his mouth. It isn't gory, like JFK being shot (and Jacqueline reaching to pick up the pieces ).

Just read the synopsis on YT. Very intriguing but tragic sounding story. Have also bookmarked that one to watch.

Probably my favourite part of the entire concert. That man had some voice on him. Truly a magical moment in music.
