They're live from Taunton next week prior to a 50 over game

Hopefully they will be allowed inside so they can review the papers properly

Don't. Think 30 minutes is enough time to discuss papers and then important cricketing matters.
The show really needed to be an hour to be a good show.
Right now it is literally the Saturday debate.

Agree, maybe now all the football has finished, they will put it back to the usual length

looking at the forecast there is going to be rain on tuesday so i would think that would make the decision to enforce the follow-on even more certain

Can't see it happening, unless allot and the journalist start the show at 9.30 am from the ground.

Wouldn't surprise me if the show get scrapped next year.

Spreads calling Sri Lanka runs at 116 - 120

Think that may be a tad optimistic

I agree and it would be nice if they didn't get lumbered with one of the tests in May.

The last test at Durham ( Ashes ) was in August. You really don't research anything you post do you ? You were picked up yesterday for being wrong again. Plus we are all still waiting for you to tell us who England's top 5 should be seeing as you keep telling us how bad they are. Guessing you don't have the bottle or knowledge

I think it would be a good idea to open with Thirimanne if they follow on

He seems to have the best technique at the moment

when the likes of thirimanne and chandimal came into the side i thought things might not be quite as bad for sri lanka when the big 2 retired but neither have really kicked on

Not sure he would like to open when he essentially playing for his spot in the team. Thirimanne been very odd for Sri Lanka for someone with that ability should be averaging far more than mid and high 20s.

Also he struggles badly against Anderson so could be counter productive to move him, they just need Karunaratne to leave the ball again, he left the ball nicely last time around

Malinga retired from the game about 6-8 yrs ago, got a dodgy knee and can't bowling more than 12-15 overs a day and takes ages to recover after a long spell of bowling

yeah i think he retired from tests as far back as 2011

played his last test in 2010

he had chronic knee problems that meant he couldn't play 5 day cricket and he has even struggled a little to play back to back ODIs because of it

    Very Optimistic:o

Follow on enforced and Spreads calling Sri Lanka 2nd innings runs at 201 - 216

They will have to play well to achieve that with their low-confidence levels atm

that does feel a little high considering they looked quite demoralised yesterday

I'm keeping my powder dry until the 2nd wicket goes down and then may get involved

does just take one decent partnership to get close to 200 i suppose

Get involved after Matthews get out right now he the only batsman that looks capable or got the ability to survive the rest could get out or are vulnerable.
Really only mendis and Mathews shown ability to score runs in England.

In their 1st innings, when they were 43/1, the spreads were calling 255-270

    A good time to sell...
