"As you know Andrew" seems to be his go to phrase when he's struggling.

So basically.. no answer to immigration.. at all.. other than "the alternative is worse". And that, ladies and gents, is why the leave vote is in with a very real chance of winning this referendum. And when he's in real trouble he starts to lash out at the Tories.

As I read your post Mrs Nodger happened to just exclaim "stop talking bollox" from the sofa. Hope that answers your question.

Oh god poor Hilary. He looks close to tears. I'm sure his bottom lip just started to go when Andrew fired up another Corbyn clip.

I do not understand how Hilary Benn can say we will not be protected by laws which we can implement ourselves.

Never go head to head with Andrew Neil unless you are fully briefed and have a good memory.

He certainly did not inherit his father's intelligence or charisma and charm.

Do you really think the leave side would reduce immigration except unintentionally by putting the economy into recession?

Yes, if it was boxing, the referee would have stopped the fight. Hilary is taking a battering.

This is Neil's first interview. Presumably there are other victims to come.

Second victim will be George Osborne on Wednesday.

Cameron promised to reduce immigration at the General Election. I want what he promised. Nothing more nothing less.
