I was thinking back to some of the old blinds I've read that would have been a sensation if they had been true and the facts made public.
There was one blind where a backing singer was alledgedly ready to sue an A list singer/dancer for huge royalties. Why? The backing singer had provided the voice for the recordings of the A lister's chart hits and albums. The A lister? She believes that very different people can fancy each other!

Her song Play is over 50% of her not singing and she doesn't sing the chorus on Ain't It Funny either. There are other examples too but these are the just off the top of my head.

Ain't It Funny and I'm Real might i add (I should say these are the official remixes that feature rappers) both choruses are sung by the r&b singer who was "Foolish"

Fair point. The blind was quite a long one and explained the situation but I can't remember it in full. I can only assume that there was some loophole the singer was looking to exploit.

Enty only revealed the A lister who I've given clues to. A backing vocalist did sue this A lister in 1991 but lost. Unlikely Enty would be referring to her though as her case was public. Producer was anonymous but the one listed name associated with her first album that I recognised was a very well known American talent show judge. So...
Don't know if this had already been said but CDAN these days is total rubbish. Must of the blinds are made up by weird fans or ex fans with some sort of agenda or other. Long story but I know someone who deliberately PM'd something totally false to a Tumblr person she knew had a bizarre grudge against a particular actor. She did it to test whether the person would send it to CDAN as a blind and whether it would get published. She did and it did. So I now ignore anything that cites CDAN as the source of the story because it obviously just publishes any old crap with no verification process whatsoever.

No it's not. The blind is 10 years old this year and will be revealed on Black Friday which is November the 25th in the US.
My money is the blind is talking about Brit Brit, like dee thinks. She was the star who instantly sprang to mind as the timeframe fits perfectly and much as I love her she is a performer, not a singer.

My money is the blind is talking about Brit Brit, like dee thinks. She was the star who instantly sprang to mind as the timeframe fits perfectly and much as I love her she is a performer, not a singer.
