Duke of Burgundy was on previously although I can't remember if it was Film4 or Channel 4. Weird film :)

Was it indeed. Film4 showed it as part of their Love and Sex season in April.

If Frozen premieres this Christmas it will be Christmas Day afternoon surely, isn't that time slot a bit late too for an animated kids film too?

It's one of the biggest films in recent years, they'll want to give it a good slot in primetime, Christmas Day won't allow it with Doctor Who and what have you.

This is ridiculous. They were released two years apart and their terrestrial TV premieres are only six weeks apart? Channel 4 really cut that one close - BBC One nearly got the sequel out before the first one! >:(

But as there were different rights, it couldn't have been helped, and no doubt BBC1 and C4 would've been in touch with each other to make sure No.2 didn't follow No.1.

And the majority of viewers wouldn't even realise.

I think you may be right - I was typing it in and thinking "surely this has been on Film 4 or Channel 4?" I have seen it on dvd, IMO not a great film.

It's such a long film that, after starting at 9.30pm on Sunday, and including adverts, it doesn't finish until Wednesday afternoon ;)

You mean make sure 2 isn't aired before the original? I also wonder if that's ever happened

In saying that, Avengers and Iron Man 3 aired before Thor and First Avenger if that counts, I'd suspect it does with Avengers at least.

Noah has just ended on Netflix so expect that soon. Not sure about Film4 but expect nothing for Channel 4 for a couple of weeks due to the Paralympics.
