"What was Bobbies full name in the Railway Children?"

    "Jones"

    :D:D:D

Well, Ben gave the answer as 'Roberta' and that wasn't her full name either!

If Andrea wins the jackpot, will Ben lift her up and swing her around?

    ............ Well, he tried to!

Well done Andrea. She's off to Canada

'2015 marks how many years since the 'Battle Of Britain'?'
    'One hundred?'
'And what would you have said?'
    'One hundred and fifty/two hundred?'

'What flavouring is used in a cheri-suisse?'
    'I've no idea.'

Surely she could have hazarded a guess and considered 'cherry'.

Just wondering if these two are actually the dimmest airheads ever to (dis)grace a quiz show?

Oh he annoyed me so much there with that performance.

'Why did you want to come on to Tipping Point ?'

Only if she reads it. Don't be one of those tiresome people who gets offended on behalf of somebody else.

Two of the stupidest answers I have heard today!

Q: Which member of the pheasant family is described as flamboyant?
    A1: Flamingo
    A2: Parrot

Just where does ITV find these people?! :o

Martyn's doing well. He's amassed £2500 before the start of the final round.

'The adjective 'Byronic' means 'characteristic of which well known poet?'

Perhaps, like me, she thought Ben said 'ironic'.
I'm hard of hearing though! :)

P.S. I use sub-titles and it came up as 'ironic' on there too.

Another less than stellar tactical performance there in the head to head, a player passing it over when the answer's obvious.

"During the First World War, which vehicle was sometimes known as a land creeper?"

"I've got an idea, but I'm not sure so I'll pass it over."

    "Is it a tank?"

Needless to say the answer was indeed tank. I'd never heard of the phrase "land creeper", but what else could it be but a tank? It can't be anything else. This is Tipping Point. The obvious answer will nearly always be correct.

Drop zone 4 was "too heavy"?
It doesn't matter which drop zone the jackpot counter goes in, it's still got to be pushed the same distance!
With 4 she'd have dropped loads of counters as well as possibly the mystery prize and the X2?!?!?
