Didn't they have 20m records when they performed last year?
It's gone down haha!
I think it was 12 lol.
I loved how the other girls would sing along (without their mics) when one of them was singing her verse. The chemistry is REAL!
I don't have a problem with people voicing different opinions. It won't be to everyone's taste and that's okay. My issue is with double standards when it comes to Mumbles and Perrie, and how she is expected to be a good little girl and sit quietly. He brought out a whole album of songs about Perrie and was more than happy to sell his story, yet she sings one song and is "desperate". As someone else said earlier, its nothing that Adele, Christina, etc haven't done before.
Loving the new song!!! Not as good as Black Magic but I think this song could be a smash for them, even if it does come across a little bit desperate (*cough* Perrie who is so not over Zayn).
Waiting for my glacial ISP to load it in! I saw a very lo res vid. LOVE that chorus, the verses seem a little disjointed but there are moments in it. I love the harmonies and Jade's last big wail at the end.
The car entrance reminds me of when they came in on motorcycles for the Final.
Is there an artist on the planet that doesn't sing about events in their life? Just because her ex is really famous doesn't mean Perrie isn't allowed to do this. Songs where people actually believe the lyrics they are singing are a lot easier to connect to. Pathetic that she gets dragged when there are three other girls singing about their exs too... People would have a point in 10 years time if all Perrie sings about is Zayn, but at this point shes singing a catchy pop song about possibly the biggest event in her life so far. Good on all four of them.
Ok, so I did bite, but that's the last I'm saying on the matter. Trolls can bore off. I don't mind people not liking the song as it's just music taste, but basically dragging Perrie through the mud for doing what all singers tend to do isn't right.
Someone on Tumblr said SOTME took all the great parts of I Won't and amplified it 100x. I totally agree. I don't understand the criticism about writing a song about an ex... especially in this song's case. It's not bitter, it's uplifting, it's very on-brand with Little Mix's message about empowerment.
Perrie has never looked so happy and confident before. The thought of her realising she's better than him, makes me smile. The same goes for the other girls though.
They all looked so proud when she sang her verse. She's glowing ;-)
Love love love! damn Perrie was really blunt, I know people will complain and I'm anxious but I'm not letting that get to me. I honestly have no idea how this will perform.

Some of the greatest songs in the world are about broken relationships, so yes of course, people are allowed to sing about their ex's or otherwise, the problem i had with the song was that it was a little 'too on the nose' and it came across as a little childish.
When better artist sing about ex's they manage to bring a level of subtlety, class and dignity.

I noticed that! Her description of it as a "happy break-up song" was bang on the money.
