I'm guessing that Lofty's switch to Holby is along similar lines to Fletch's switch, in terms of the actor wanting to be nearer to family in the London area without the journey back & forth from Cardiff.
I don't like Lofty and Donna never really did it for me so I can't say I'm thrilled by this news. Plus who will we lose to make way for the newbies? Better not be Sacha Jac Oliie or Dom!!
I hope we get an explanation as to why Lofty is returning to Holby City Hospital though on the wards instead. Not sure about Donna.
I am speculating but I think Isaac may go after his psychological/emotional abuser SL which causes an opening on Keller. Or someone else on Keller goes or moves to another ward which could explain the opening.
Wait til the new F1 appears I am before making a comment

Fingers crossed Dom is OK by the time Lofty appears (who knows how it's going to end...) but I think Lofty and Dom would make a great pairing.
BIB: In the press release it says "but is he still running away from his problems?" so I assume the storyline will carry on. He was heartbroken about inadvertently killing Diane so I hope the story continues in a way. I assume we'll see him freak out when someone needs to use a defibrillator.
For those of us who watch both - there's more likelihood of seeing a personal storyline in Holby City, right? It's 10 mins longer than Casualty and there are no scenes with the patients on their own.

There are no scenes with the Patient on their own pre admission but I'd say there's an equal amount of bedside, diagnosis scenes and there are theatre scenes whuch you don't get in Casualty, plus, much more politicak, boardroom stuff. So, I doubt there actually is more time devoted to oersonal, soapy stuff in Holby than Casualty.

Interesting..maybe I think this because there seems to be more screen time for all characters compared to Casualty?

Yes, that's probably true since there are virtually no solo Patient scenes whereas there are in Casualty as we see the lead uo to the accidents. So, there is likely to be at least one regular character in every scene, thus increasing their screen time. But, that increased time is not necessarily taken up with personal storylines. They coukd just easily be discussing Patient cases or Office Politics.
Despite Serena falling apart, I have to say that Jasmine's been getting more mentoring on AAU than she did on either Darwin or Keller. And I'm not only talking about Serena (whose mentoring may not exactly be ideal at the moment, but is there to some extent) but Bernie and Morven are both really looking out for her.
I really hope Serena listens to Bernie and gets help. I was glad to see her letting Bernie in at the end of the episode. I know a lot of people don't like them together but I actually do.
I don't trust Kim. I don't believe those kids really are Raf's. There's something very strange about her.
I always like the scenes with Mo and Jac. They're great together, they have a great friendship.
It was good to see Sacha back on the ward. It finally feels as though there was someone in charge on Keller.
Dom's face is always so expressive. It's just like Isaac to appear to give him a generous gift, but really it's just another means of putting him down and making him feel bad about himself.
Donna left with Kieran played by Barry Sloan. Guess, they will have broken up when she returns. I wonder if she will return with her niece. I love Donna. I hope they don't spoil her return.
Jac, you really don't need to be like that with the new guy, whose name I've forgotten, just because you work together. Not long ago you thought, happily, that you were having Johnny's baby.
I wonder if there will be complaints for tonight's swearing. Bernie said to Serena and Jasmine - 'shit's going down' (or something along those lines, but definitely said shit). I doubt there will be those who moan like with EE viewers recently.

Did they really say shit?
Pretty sure shit pre-watershed is still not allowed.
Raf should insist on paternity test once the babies are born.
More degrading of Dom from Isaac, I really hope there is light at the end of tunnel and that Dom is free from Isaac
Do like a bit of Mo and Jac. Not sure about Jac and Matteo
I also like Berena and Catherine Russel and Gemma Redgrave are fantastic. I hope Serena gets help

I thought she said that the ship's going down. just checked my recording with subtitles and it's definitely ship
It's about time someone became concerned about Serena's drinking. Jasmine made a mistake in covering for her.
I never thought I'd say this, but where's Jason? It's been weeks since we last saw him.
Jason will be back. There was a picture of him having his haircut on Twitter – that's why Twitter is useful, for information! Catherine Russell said hello my nephew !!
My first instinct was the babies are not Rafs, but then I came more convinced they might be, but that woman is very dodgy so who knows?
Essie's reaction was totally understated. I'm sorry but here is a woman who desperately wants a baby and who has just found out the guy she is casually seeing has managed to get another woman pregnant with not one but two babies and he's pretty happy about it ... and Essie seems totally fine about it all and even pleased for him?
I wonder if the babies are Rafs and then in a few weeks Essie also discovers she's pregnant leaving Raf in the bizarre situation of having unborn children with two different woman and being torn between them.
The rest was really strong - Jas / Serena / Bernie and Mo / Jac are always a joy. So glad Mo didn't know Dermots number, I don't know anyone's number these days

Not when they worked together. They got together afterwards.

I wish I could say I felt sorry for Essie but I so didn't 😃
Poor Dom. What a complete shit Issac is.
Great kiss between Jac and Matteo at the end 😎

They could turn Jez into a nurse trainee or something like that.
Don't like that Kim woman - I half expected to see boiling bunnies on the scan. I thought Raf fired blanks?
Oh, & I know where I'd have rammed those dumbbells...
yeah on all counts... Raf did fir blanks... It what killed his marriage
