I suspect the pain is worse because, either consciously or not, you are trying to find a reason not to go. Don't give in to it. Go out, eat, chat, laugh and smile. It will help lighten your mood.

No it's worse cause I had to go to the shop and shower yesterday, too much for my body

Yes, but going out for tea involves getting clean in the shower, which Ebony can't do by herself so she has to do it with her OH who might see her scabby belly, which will turn him off and cause him to not fancy her anymore and then he won't want to have sex, which is possibly a good thing because Ebony won't do that anyway and is unwilling to change the situation....

You forgot about the extreme pain which means that a pop to the shops and a quick shower means she is now bed bound and therefore not up for sitting at a table chatting to her family, about her interesting life.

Out of interest, what did you say your diagnosis was again? Was it EDS?
Just being nosey, feel free to tell me to bugger off. But I observed a rheumatology clinic the other week and chatted to some people with EDS
