Wayne is public property. Therefore he didn't just cheat on Coleen, he cheated on the entire English nation. We are all victims of his shameless adultery. Just like the "November Criminals" in Weimar Germany, he stabbed us all in the back  Such an attack can never, in my humble opinion, be forgiven.

I used to think that English football was really boring but now I think that English footballing players are the best.

Dont think it matters who had what when they started, but they both have something, a child. As an added bonus both are wealthy now in their own right, and unless they deeply still love each other, in which case work it out. If not both can stand o their own too feet and be very comfortably well off, unlike the rest of us

Especially, with being a young man (and all that) who can have whatever he wants whenever he wants he must be under a great deal of pressure not to give way to the temptations that are constantly being offered up to him, so, if Coleen can put it down to another piece of male stupidity and some hookers taking advantage of a young fool whose common sense is clearly defaulting to his d**k, maybe, just maybe, he might get a second chance and not lose his family.

Thats the thing though it wasnt like that- she was a prostitute who he pursued for sex and then paid her for the ordeal which makes it an even bigger betrayal. Colleen should take half his fortune and find herself a decent bloke who will treat her right. Sadly though i can see her doing an Abbey Clancy/Toni Terry and taking him back so he can cheat on her all over again.

yes but not take him back.. they've got a kid together and you cant have all that bitterness even if it is rooney's fault.

Hopefully after this year, we never hear of this WAG nonsense again

I don't think she will after his comments. She is an independant woman, with her own money. And I hope she gets a good lawyer, who will take rooney to the cleaners.

Lol. I don't think prostitutes "take advantage" of anyone. The man chooses to pay for sex - its a conscious decision.

cath99. I think girls like the one in question are a bit different to the majority of prostitutes to which you refer and who are indeed being used pretty much all the time and deserve our sympathy against the men who pay to abuse them. However, this young lady had her own agenda, and yes Wayne did make the conscious decision to pay for sex and i won't be defending him. But she chose to offer herself for sex to him and several others, this being a girl who hasn't wanted for anything on the home or education front by all accounts. So your defence of her as if she is one of the army of desperate prostitutes who either actually are, or feel there is no alternative to, selling themselves to survive or feed a drug habit or are being controlled by a pimp or gang, this diminishes the plight of real victims of this abusive trade. The sympathy you show towards Jennifer Thompson may be your view, but yours is almost certainly a minority view.

I dont think Wayne gives a toss whether she does or doesn't.

IMO things haven't been well in the Rooney household for a while. She chooses to go to her mums after having her baby rather than her own home, he says if she wants a divorce he wont try to change her mind and that she and her family have been living off the back of his talent for years. It's not teh words and actions of a happily married couple.

Coleen has 18 million of her own, according to reports so I doubt if his father-in-law is that worried about where he is going to live. Thankfully Coleen not only has money but a loving family to support her. So many women have to face ending their marriage with little money and no family support.

I actually meant good on her Dad for not feeling beholding to Wayne as many are saying. :o

I agree they don't seem like a married couple, they seem to just turn up for night outs for show. I don't think there is real love there. And if he really just texted her with the info about the stories, that says it all. If he wanted to be married he would've been bombarding her at wherever she was every minute of the day. He's clearly not the marrying kind and far too immature to settle down. She will be a mug to try to make it work.

    now THAT's funny

Coleen Rooney needs to get a brilliant lawyer, and ensure that she and their son are well looked after.

If reports are true he cares little that he's been caught cheating again, and whether it's with "an escort " or any other person, it's cheating.

The fact he met the same girl on so many occasions must be so hurtful to Colleen.

    Nasty business. but not unexpected.

It was a good career move though wasnt it?;)

Colleen Rooney is not stay at home wife...she is worth a fortune in her own right !!

I have a feeling that Colleen's "career " will outlast Waynes'

Footballers have limited careers, and what else has Wayne Rooney to offer.

    He is no David Beckham.

Coleen, on the other hand, appears to have good business sense, and pursues many opportunities.

I wouldnt take going to her mums after having a child a sign of disharmony within the Rooney household, ALOT of women seek guidance from their mothers after giving birth. Some women are more nervous and seek help from their mothers. Its not an uncommon thing, an certainly doesnt highlight problems. However your other comments may highlight such a fact :) I dont think this alone is anything worrying personally.
lol Coleen does not have 18m..

It's estimated her fortune is 8 million, tally that with what ever she'll receive property wise (Cheshire home and the Barbados holiday house) and whatever she'll receive from the divorce (settlement) plus a monthly allowance to care for HIS child, and the flood of work opportunities she'll receive within the media. I don't think Coleen will be bad off. Thats why I dont get people slatting her family, as Rooneys kept them. They have no need to feel blackmailed by such a cretin, Coleen could quite easily pay him off herself for the home. I thought when you get married you value each others family, in this case clearly Wayne sees it as an I.O.U in case he gets caught:rolleyes:

Cheryl's thoughts: "Help, Coleen is stealing my press. We must do something."

Thats much is clear :D The day after the first Rooney/Prostitute scandal, Cheryl was in the papers saying how thankful she was she didnt have kids with Ashley:rolleyes:, and she wants them now:yawn:. She really cant take someone stealing her limelight even if Coleen is suffering:eek:. And no doubts wishes she wasnt on the front covers (their fault though) Big difference between Cheryl and Coleen< She doesnt want the media attention during a hard time in her life, Cheryl however milked it for all it was worth.
Oh of course, silly of me not to realise that if a man cannot have sex with his wife he is entitled to find "comfort" with a prostitute. Women who are pregnant go through quite a difficult time, some are lucky and sail through it, some do not. It seems there are some men out there who are so self-involved that if their needs are not met......"I must be the centre of attention, I must be considered above all else" etc, they justify behaving like a cretin. Hey, if the shoe was on the other foot, how would you like it if you were ill/injured and your wife used it as an excuse to play away!!!!!

Good God, what happened to LOVE!!!!

Great post, some men just dont get what women actually go through in order for them to have the gift of a child. They seem to be under some weird illusion its like shelling pea's, and if the womans not giving out, then they can go elsewhere???? Bizzare, like women going through all that pain and change in the first place wouldnt allow them a few months of relaxing if necessary, surely a understanding husband would get that? Clearly some men shouldnt be married.

If Rooney really did say those thing about Coleen and her family his behaviour is beneath contempt.

It shouldn't surprise me , but there has been absolutely no criticism of his behaviour from the football media. This is in contrast to many other footballers like John Terry and Steven Gerrard who the football media have been critical of.

All we get is " Wayne is the greatest player we have, leave him alone" Sorry to disappoint you but Rooney's performances fo England in the last TWO world cups have been a total disgrace and scoring goals against second rate teams does not change that.

A football journalist , Mick Dennis, said this week on Radio5 that Rooney was England's best player during the WC and no-one disagreed with him. That shows the complete hold he has over journalists that they actually believe this stuff.

In contrast look at what happened to Tiger Woods, for less serious " offences" He was regarded by golf journalists as a complete outcast, and he is a great athlete , unlike Rooney.

I know, absolutely bizzare! I really do enjoy my football, but honestly Rooney may as well of not been involved in the WC, he simply went missing from the game. The Greatest player:D, I'd even say Cole was the best player at the world Cup. I Certainly see the double standards in the world of sport now. Tiger Woods was ripped to shred's by the press, so was Ashley Cole and again so was John Terry, but Rooney still gets highly supported???? Just because he's still performing? I wonder if its because he plays for Man Utd? It certainly can't be that hes untouchabe because he's in the England team?

I bet there are lots of girls he's slept with, who thought they were 'special' to him and stupidly thought they were the only one he was having a fling with...I bet their hearts are breaking at all of this. Ha its hilarious. Poor Coleen.

The Sun front page "The Predator" is pretty damning for him today, I must admit. Although the red tops have an underlying left wing/working class mentality and thus support him quite a lot, the country has always had a puritanical streak running underneath it and I think his image will never recover. A one night stand is one thing, but multiple occassions with prostitutes and womanising will not go down well at all...

If she were to divorce him and walk away with millions then all his talk of her and her family riding along on his success and fortune will be totally justified in his eyes. Of course that shouldn't be the case and if she is entitled to half she should get it, but if it's true that he holds her family in such low regard then i hope she gives him a big eff you and doesn't ask for anything. Money is nothing to these footballers anyway. If she takes half he will know that in a few more years he will have made it all back again.

I don't think we should make the assumption straight off that she's going to have him back because she's talking to him. Ronan Keating's missus threw him out right away after she found out about his affair, but apparently they're all sweetness and light again now.

Rooney was never the best England player. He was actually the worst.. Heskey was better than him and he got slated:confused:. Gerrard never gets critisised. ever. Its poliyics really.

Terry's abuse lasted a few weeks before the media actually said lets move past this. Cole's lasted months and months.. you would have thought he beat up Cheryl.. and now this, the media suddenly remember the groupies and critisise them instead of Wayne.

I see in today's Daily Mirror that Coleen is only hacked off with Roo for being "a fool" probably for being found out http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/09/09/coleen-rooney-lets-rip-at-wayne-rooney-during-showdown-talks-115875-22547431/ , not for sleeping around, seems to me that she's probably more that happy for some soft in the head wannabe to fulfill that side of the marriage contract on her behalf. Anyway, she's probably got her own extramarital encounter well under way as we all pick over Roo's latest playing away stunt. The marriage is a sham and has become just a business union of convienience.

They are still officially separated though. They have been staying together for the last 3 months for the sake of their 3 children, but Yvonne hasn't taken him back as her husband.
