To be serious for a moment here though, my granny said (50 odd years ago that it is wrong to 'tar everyone wit the same brush' (for the young ones who might not know what that means) it's wront to make sweeping, all inclusive statements like "all group X are sex mad". But in the last few years I have heard loads of Professionals, MP's and others state that people on Benefits are scrounging, lazy and without worth. I know there are people who claim various benefits when they don't need them, are not entitled to them, etc. but I am equally sure that there are thousands of people who are entitled to claim and there are some that should claim that haven't for fear of being accused of being 'One of the thieving scroungers' that this government has been talking about. Tarring everyone with the same brush is wrong whenever it happens. this Government isn't really interested in stopping fraud and illegal claims Cameron wants to get rid of the welfare state (and the NHS)because he and his lot don't need it and it/they cost a lot to run. The Tories (and the Press) are doing their usual diversion tactics. How many bankers have been prosecuted for fraud over their short-term financial gambles designed to pump up their bonuses? What's happening to lessening the Murdoch grip on our media now that News Corp. is a proven corrupt organisation?

I think people on benefits should be left alone and not pestered to get a job unless they want to. They should not be made to feel bad or ashamed of being on benefits.
