People who say they like cats are only putting on an act because they don't want to upset the cunning little buggers...

You're just kidding yourselves. They *know*!!

They are plotting to overthrow us. Crapping in our gardens is just the beginning...

Wow. This thread got way weirder than it had any right to be. Excellent entertainment!

Swell, if it has the Stoatie seal, I should endeavour to read at least two back pages. Maybe one of these days I shall catch up, and or read a thread from its inception or conception..bye bye.

You're braver than me. I don't think I have ever ventured in - seeing the titles in the forum index when in GD is enough to know it isn't a place I want to be.

Currently it is showing "Last person to post is sexy". I have no idea who posts in threads like that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same people who caused the Labia dye to be sold out.

That thread is particularly vomit inducing. I was cringing reading the last couple of pages. I feel sullied and in need of a scrub down with some bleach and a brillo pad.

    Yes they know.

I report back all human activities to my feline overlords.

One day I shall be rewarded.

Damn it, I feel a dare coming on. I swear, I am my own worse enemy

EDIT: If I am not back soon, someone call the mods :p

You'd betray your own race for those vindictive b*****ds?

    You'll be sorry...

Most cats are disgusting. You get the occasional cute one though.

Your standard black cat is really just vermin.

Bleach ain't gonna do it. The Earth must be destroyed if the contagion is to end.

Why should I have to waste part of my garden (which like all modern gardens is already a bit too small) on a toilet for someone else' pet?

Because, as I said, it's the pragmatic approach. Far better to devote less than two square feet to a sand pit hidden away under some bushes, than to keep picking crap off your lettuces.

...and on the minus side they pointlessly kill wild birds and other harmless small creatures they aren't scared of.
Animal loving owners also have ducks, lambs, rabbits, chickens and fish killed to feed them.
That sounds like two more points to add to the anti-dog list as well.

Apparently those of us who cringe have no sense of humour.

    They are wonderful companions.

Almost as though they know when you are a bit down, and are even more affectionate.

If I'm tired or stressed, ours stands on the back of the settee and kneads my shoulder with his paws, almost like a massage. Trouble is he makes a racket purring right in my earhole at the same time. :D

    They just know don't they.

Very empathic in that sense :)
