I do love that Emmett is so pleased for HO, it's sweet and it shows his lack of snobbery about work. Obviously he hasn't watched the show since he left though (apart from when Kieron texted asking him to watch the Pauline stuff ) so he has no idea what it's become.

The period around Pauline's death (if you ignore Doug and Clare) was half decent and if it had stayed like that then I'd have been happy for the win. Or 2008 when it was brilliant. Or 2013. I just can't see it getting better now (and part of me would like to start watching again but I can't in this state!).
Has BK made a statement yet? :kitty: Have we got any horrid teasers about what he's got in the works for Best Soap Hollyoaks?
I think that after Clare didnt work as well as he hoped, thats when the show really got derailed and completely fell apart after last summer. He just got really desperate.
And i was thinking just this morning about how much i miss the slum and Ste having his own home.
I'm really happy for the cast, but Hollyoaks really isn't in good shape right now. It makes me sad that BK will probably continue to think that having one OMG moment after another is good writing.
I agree! It wasn't perfect, but the show was enjoyable to watch. He had his big stunts and OMG moments, but they didn't happen every other week.
And they actually had aftermath. Like The Dog explosion had a massive impact (as it should have done). Even nine months later it was still relevant (Justin pushed Clare because she mocked the death of his sisters). I think they probably had a better cast of characters to play with so that helped but even still.

It wasn't a dream?

At least that sounds entertaining...

That would have been amazing if it had been last year.:o:(
ETA We should still be spoiler-tagging shouldn't we..?

That reminds me of that line from Cheryl

Oooh. :kitty:
1) BK will think they need to do an even better stunt to win = even more stunts.
2) BK will realise they should put more effort into one stunt rather than doing a stunt every other week.
Afternoon. :kitty:

Ardluck. :kitty:
I was going to put my third choice as "who knows, it's BK."
Haha
Such a shame. I adored his work first time round.

So did I, it's a shame that he thinks the show needs stunts and OMG plots every week now to be a success.
I can't do spoiler tags, but I think you all know what I mean.
Yes, yes you did.
I can't see who people follow on Instagram. Do you have to sign up for it to be able to see?
I think so.
Kieron follows Emmett, Jazz Franks, Cheryl Cole, Anna Shaffer, Danny Mac, Lindsey Lohan and Victoria Beckham.
Emmett hasn't followed Kieron back yet, he only follows Claire, Kayla and The Rock.
BIB Oh, Emmett
