Maybe you could ask for her blessing to find him for yourselves?

I've mentioned it to her a few times but she just clams up and I can tell she's not comfortable with the idea of it. It's a shame because I will always wonder. :(

58.. She nearly died in December from of lack of potassium and heart failing, I managed to get her to hospital in time, she would have died that night if I'd not got her in to A&E that day.

She spent 6 weeks in hospital recovering, she detoxed whilst there, swore blind she wanted to live and to beat it.. But started drinking when she got back out of hospital. No helping her.

Breaks my heart, tried everything I can and its no good. It kills me to watch her do this to herself, so I've walked away. 😢

I bet. She's my age... I'm surprised that the new family she has found hasn't given her a will to live. So sorry for you...

    Does the first name suffice?

Well you can type in a first name and then search by location.

Obviously a slim chance but it is there.

I can mail you the profile links if u like?

I've tried everything. Told her she won't be around to see any grandchildren. Told her she can't leave us, told her I've opened a bank account to try and save for her funeral as her life insurance has lapsed and she has lost her job and just lost her house, so we will be left with her debts and trying to pay for her funeral.

I said all this to try and shock her, but nothing gets through to her at all. She loves booze more than her kids.

Isn't Devina just the most perfect host for this show. So warm and empathetic.

That is so sad. Hope you can get through to her but she must have very serious issues ...

Thank you. I console myself with the fact that I've done everything I can for her. I've tried.

Alan and Andrea REALLY looked like their respective parents tonight, peas in a pod! Genes, funny things! LOL!

Rare to find a mum and a dad still together ...lovely story! A big weight of their shoulders i should think.
And i agree Davina is good for this programme.

I feel sad that Davina didn't get a better ending with her own birth mother. But maybe that's what spurred her on to want to reunite others.

I can only speak from personal experience but no matter how wonderful the reunion, the wound caused by being adopted never heals...

Of course I guess a life in care would cause a bigger wound though...

I had my doubts about Davina but she's perfect.
A decent ITV primetime show , miracles do happen.

I still feel uncomfortable with the cameras being there for the initial
emotional meeting, I wish they would film in silent long shot for the first few minutes.

I don't think I know that story. What happened?

Davina is a decent host when she doesn't get overexcited and start shouting.

God that was sad, felt so sorry for the fireman
To find out your parents gave you away then stayed together and had another child. That's tough. Glad they all reunited at the end:)

Love Davina and Nicky in this programme.
