Tell me about it! Baby Wipes come in very handy in such situations, but absolutely NO sitting on laps or furniture until it's sorted out!! Fortunately, it doesn't happen very often, Maine **** poos are pretty solid and massive affairs in general.
I've seen an alsatian do smaller ones than my boy.
I agree. My Katy never has dags - she just does enormous solid logs twice as big as anything I have ever produced in my life.
I take them out of her litter tray with a scoop and put them down the loo. They take several flushes to disappear.
Yesterday I thought I'd managed to flush the things away but I hadn't. When I went to the loo much later there was this enormous hulking Katy-turd still sitting in the pan. The trouble was a visitor had gone in their earlier just to wash her hands. She must have seen the massive thing and probably thought it was mine!

I have had my "new" cat for 5 months now, thriving but my old cat still hates him.
For the last few months he has not been outside, now the weather is warming up he is asking to go. I've no problem with my old cat doing this, she is quite happy going out into the yard and is too old to climb the high wall. He is much younger and quite capable of jumping high enough.
Just wondered what the best way to let him out for the first time is.

I think I can call TMI on that:p
Noodles - sadly departed now....
Quite small and slim for a Coone, but still bigger than our other cats!

Best cat ever (and I've had a few!)
ETA: Sorry, just realised I've posted one of these photos on this thread before. Still, never mind, she was beautiful enough for a repost!
What a gorgeous cat.
