[1]Some of the pickets I went through included members of the Socialist Workers Party calling for an over throw of the Tory Government. [2]BMA Council members have been open about supporting Corbyn - so for some council members there was a clear political motivation.
1. Were they members of the BMA then?
2.Sorry, I don't follow. Some BMA council members will be Tory voters too. What's your point?
Of course it matters! If they weren't members of the BMA (and I don't think for one minute they were) then it is completely irrelevant.
I said it didn't matter because they weren't the ones on snapchat(?) formulating and agreeing the strategy, so their membership, or lack of, is an irrelevance.
are you implying in your second sentence that the BMA is dominated by the SWP?
Nope and I couldn't care less one way or the other if the leadership is affiliated with other groups or not because that would simply deflect the gaze away from what they were doing as the BMA

Doesn't matter. What does matter is that those formulating and voting on strategies that put patient safety at the bottom of the pile were.

Basically you're agreeing with me.
