Though Sturridge was the main one I wanted out of the group of five. Feel a bit bad for Cuishla. I had 12 million on Sturridge until this morning and changed it to 12.50. He bid 12 and would of won him in order preference had I not changed it. Would of been a disaster if I didn't change that bid.
My bid for Sturridge had increased throughout yesterday. I thought 12m would have been enough. Pleased I got Hulk and Pogba though, seems to have been a good few bids for both.
In terms of getting the players I bidded for, that was a brilliant 2nd round for me. I basically now have 6 defensive players from top teams and Messi up front with a splattering of a few other that could do well. I like my chances here.
If Podolski gets some decent time on the field he could be my bargain of the tournament. In 71 minutes in Germany's 2 friendlies, he's scored 1 and assisted 4.
I don't know if this is useful to anyone else, but I couldn't find a way to see all the teams on one page, so I organised them in excel. Thought I'd post the results in case others found it useful.
Van Persie, Kalou, and Klose, are three top level international strikers, so I am very happy to have them!
Klose beating Gerd Muller's international total for Germany (albeit via loads more games!) shows that he still has "it"!
Plus with Reus out of the Cup, that might mean more game time for him as well, so a win-win situation for me with that injury!
Throw in a midfield of (hopefully fit enough) Vidal, Curardo, Valencia, and Inler, then I think that I have a fantastic set of players, just hopefully I won't let in too many goals!

Yeah. Your team definitely jumps out. Neymar is a contender for top scorer, although top scorer is often someone you don't expect.
