Actually, this line is spoken by the Doctor to Clara, it's got nothing to do with Missy. According to a crew member, PC was supposed to read the line, but he'd left so someone else spoke it in his place.

I suppose it could be if they're going for 'because Clara is a control freak so she's not in control' but even so, it would make much more sense coming from Missy IMO.

Until we know in what context the line is spoken there's no point saying "it doesn't make sense." It could be spoken in jest or he and Clara could have some telepathic link for some reason (all pure speculation on my part), so we shouldn't make assumptions and dismiss it as nonsense until we know the whole picture.

a) outside the usual run of episodes, and
b) shown around Christmas.
So it doesn't actually have to be about Christmas, or set specifically at Christmas to be a Christmas Special.

See this is why I avoided the forums when Last Christmas was shown. I thought it was amazing, brilliantly written and the idea was incredible. A far cry from the genuinely awful RTD Christmas specials we were forced to suffer year on year. I now have rage about it 5 months too late. How could that have not been enjoyed!? Blah.
In some of those images, he appears to be chasing something.
Given it's a children's playground, could:
A: The Maitland kids be returning?
B: Clara give birth to a baby and we see the baby as a five year old kid?
C: The Adipose return. The Doctor be chasing a new alien baby not seen in the show before or a new alien toddler/kid.
Unless you have precognitive powers, we don't know what this year's stinker will be until the episodes air. We might get lucky and the worst episode might just be an average one at best.

To be able to manipulate someone successfully, you need to 'get in their mind'. It is not a literal thing, rather a metaphorical turn of phrase. And one that 7 used as a mechanism quite a lot throughout his tenure.
