Ugh @ her bringing the London shooting into it. I bet she doesn't even know Mark Duggan's name. The riots in Manchester had nothing to do with the shooting, it was petty theft and vandalism.
Because her kids were with her in the clip egging her on. Her defensiveness to me proves they played a part in the looting and she was trying to defend their actions.
If it's the one linked to above, one kid told the man that his mum was speaking, the other two didn't say a word. What I will say is that a) we operate a system of "innocent until proven guilty" - I'll only assume someone has looted when proven in a court of law and b) nothing justifies the killing of anyone.
I saw it and I have mixed feelings about it. What I saw was shocking, but I also saw a mum instinctively defending her kids despite what happened in a kind of knee jerk reaction to the cameras.
I know plenty of mums and dads (my neighbour for one) who will always defend their kids no matter what.
My neighbours son was always getting into trouble, whenever he'd pick on my boys or hit them I'd tell her but her response was "Oh well they must have done something to him first!"
The fave excuse i always hear is "My kid is no angel but.............."

My son stole a couple of pick and mix sweets from Tescos when he was 4, I found out and I took him back into the store and told the manageress (she was very good and told Ben off for stealing)
And he didn't do it again. (not as far as I know), but he's nearly 13 now and has never been in trouble with the cops, so he's doing well so far.
I know I shouldn't, having watched the EDL muslamic infidels video one too many times, but sometimes I wonder how people can be so fundamentally lacking in self-awareness. Do they honestly listen to what they are saying before it pours out their mouths?
I stopped watching Shameless shortly after Steve and Fiona left, the character of Frank really started to annoy me as he appeared to have no redeeming qualities. I had guessed he may have been based on real life people but I thought he may have been exaggerated for dramatic effect, how wrong I was.
That skanky tramp and her mutant progeny are an utter disgrace and should be shot along with the chav scumbag that jumped in front of Chris Butlers camera in Salford and bemoaned the "Polish coming over here stealing our jobs....so we gotta riot....mmmmnyurrrrgggghhhh!!!"

On the BBC News they just "interviewed" a man who was sayin they needed more riots and when he was asked why he said "Because the ******* Poles are coming over here and taking our jobs and we can't get a job"
Basically he didn't have a clue why people were rioting, honestly, I despair.
I mean I don't agree with the riots, but at least know why you're rioting if you're going to do it!
