If CAN can only be compared to Black Sheep then its great, are there any other agencies they can be compared to?

Agreed Cazzz. I don't even know who Black Sheep are tbh but, according to what's on here, they are worserer than CAN.

Ok, so can anyone name any decent PR companies that we can contrast and compare CAN to?

As I've said before, I really don't understand how defending someone by comparing them to something more down market is a good or valid discussion. But then I don't understand how someone you're a fan of making cash out of tat brings out the triple greens but someone you dislike making cash out of tat makes them a tacky skank. Baffling

Black Sheep is the agency of Katie Price

They might have Michelle Moan but she only signed up just after her marriage split, I wonder if she plans on furthering her reality TV career and getting out there to meet people, PA normally gets promoted along with the CAN ladies.....I wonder how long before they appear together at a function...That is what CAN do best.

    And ?
Why are people offended at CAN clients supporting each other at events ? :)
They spend time together and socialise together outside of public events as well, as evidenced by comments on TWITTER . Even Kerry Katona tweets regularly at her delight at being back in the CAN 'family' circle with her old friends despite not being a client anymore. Because they are a sociable bunch. :)

I think it is because we are neutral, therefore the comparisons that are supposed to bait us into a "Worserer-off", merely bemuse us.

    Maggots or roaches, Blondie?

Do they ram their faces into every scene on her tv shows?

That enforces my point really. Why do those who hate KP continue to compare CAN to her agency? If she's the bad in their view and flopping that badly compared to the shining stars of CAN, then why even mention them in the same breath? I don't get it

You can't compare them to any agency that has clients with discernible talent... or agencies that represent sport stars who actually have to put a lot of hard work into their jobs... the athletes not the blood sucking agents... or agencies that primarily represent non profit organisations... do politicians have agents?.. nah even most of them have intelligence although they do qualify on the 'no dignity no soul ' checklist.

Sorry Blondie it looks like it is on zelebrity agents then... there is only a handful... isn't KP's ex manager another contender?.. no idea of what he or his agency are called though.

    True story AC.

It's rather like being asked if you'd prefer herpes or syphilis. I'm sure some on here could argue in support of one or other of those by saying the other is worserer whereas most of us would shrug our shoulders and say 'both as bad as each other'

Who do they represent and how do they compare to CAN? Do they crowbar themselves into every photo opp and most scenes in the rtv shows of their charges?

You make a valid point. I have no idea what his agency is called, or what zeleb agents are called, let alone spot them in a lineup. Most stay in the background. I think CP wants to be in the limelight:)

The only one comparable to CAN is, I think, Uncle Max. Though he seems to ditch his K and T's as soon as their moment is gone.

Who do they represent ? a gaggle of 'models' I'm told.

How do they compare to CAN ? They don't. But they try..... unsuccessfuly.

Third question ?.....they try,but their 'mentor' is a faded page three muddle and really hasn't a clue about PR.:)

The fact CP shoehorns herself into every event means she is more desperate to promote herself than say well every other agency who don't need to because they have quality talented clients.

Robbie Williams, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lord Sugar, Al Gore, Russell Brand, Catherine Tate, David Tennant, Gok Wan among others.

Comparing Taylor Herring to CAN is like comparing A glass of fine wine to a chipped mug of warm piss.
Do they crowbar themselves into every photo opp and most scenes in the rtv shows of their charges?
 The polite answer would be they don't need to!

Right, but you obviously feel that the two agencies and their clientèle are comparable, because you keep comparing them.

So CAN is good compared to a agency you think is rubbish. They should use that in their advertising, "CAN - Not as rubbish as the worst agency out there!"

Oh yes....for sure.....as in "Chalk & cheese". Comparable as polar opposites :D

Everything is good compared to Black Sheep. But CAN is the best....yes. ;)

Funny how some people see 'chalk and cheese' and others see 'peas and pods'... perspective is such a subjective creature.

Michelle Mone’s photo seems to have disappeared from Can’s celebrity list of clients; it was there the other day. Shirley Kemp has also disappeared.

This thread and others over the last few days have really opened my eyes to something I had no idea existed, fans of a PR agency. It's such a strange concept, I can not get my head around it.

Being a fan of a zeleb, however crap, yes I can see it but blindly defending every single person signed to the same management as your hero and including the manager in that blind loyalty to the point of accusing others of being jellus of her has blown my mind tbh.

*If* people really aren't on the payroll and genuinely love everything to do wiith that agency, it's something I've never come across in my live and not something I can get my head around.
I have no idea who manages people I like, and don't really care tbh.
